The room was simple but comfortable.
The level of service was very poor. Breakfast (7€ per person) was supposed to be served at 08.30, and when we arrived the evening before, I specifically explained to the receptionist that I needed to have my breakfast ready at 08.30 because of an appointment I had that morning. When we arrived in the breakfast room just after 08.30 the room was in disorder, dirty napkins all over the chairs, dirty tables, no place settings laid (see the photos). Some uncovered orange segments had been left out (cover lying on a chair) with tea, coffee and a tiny amount of unappetising cornflakes with some orange marmalade. No bread or anything else. No staff to be seen in the whole riad. I tried to phone the riad owner (who was in France - the call to her answerphone cost me £7.20!) and asked her to call me back but she never did. She did however send me a number of texts and emails to me for having the temerity to complain, messages which I felt were rude and abusive. Eventually a half-cooked pancake arrived with some stale cake and a small French patisserie, but the setting was so dirty and unappetising that I couldn't eat it. The owner is an absentee, there didn't appear to be a local manager, and the rudeness of the owner's responses was shocking and upsetting. It ruined our stay.
Great staff, lovely place. A small paradise in the heart pf Marrakech
Excellent staff. Were very flexible & served dinner even at midnight as we got delayed.
Riad was very near to the square. Good rooms & very clean. price may be a bit on the higher side.. You do get better raids for similar price.
