Mohammad, one of the staff was so accommodating, the whole Riad was great, the massage was awesome. Everyone is very welcoming.
They don’t have bidet!
Location - this was the best Riad we found that was centrally located to all the activities we wanted to try out. It was walking distance to all of the main Marrakech activities even the Jardin Majorelle! We found it wonderful that we could walk everywhere and explore the city quite easily. It’s definitely worth paying for the airport transfer to the hotel as it’s quicker than trying to find it yourself with Google Maps etc. Staff - this was the stand out feature of the riad for us. The staff are so lovely and welcoming. On our first day we were offered mint tea as a welcome and shown a local map with all the tourist activity locations and the proximity to the riad. My sister and I were almost late for a tour one morning and the staff personally drove us to the drop off point to make sure we wouldn’t miss our trip. They go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is good and it defiantly goes a very long way. Value - this is very good value for money based on the proximity to the other activities and the rooms etc. Breakfast was included in our room rate which was really useful and an added bonus. Our one regret is that we had spent all our dirhams by the final day so we couldn’t leave tips for the staff as they thoroughly deserved it. Next time I’ll take money specifically for this purpose! Overall enjoyed our stay so much that I’m planning on staying here next time I visit Marrakech. I’ve told everyone I know to stay here when they come to Marrakech just because I enjoyed it so much. Can’t wait to go back!
The room we stayed in had unstable WiFi but there was always WiFi in the courtyard so it wasn’t a big deal to us!
The service of this place is AMAZING. It was in the perfect location and made being in a new city so simple. Anything you could possible need or want can be be handled by the riad. Also, it gives you access to amenities in 3 riads. Also, trying your cuisine in Riad Karmela and Princesse is a must.
The staff members were amazing and highly helpful in every case (eg. Extra heating, gift snacks, lagguage handling )
The Riad Karmela is an oasis of calm in the Medina , it is approx. 10 minutes walk from the main square so very easy to get to. The Riad is clean, comfy and well priced. We have just returned from our fourth visit and we definitely be returning next year .
With a stay at Riad Petit Karmela, you'll be centrally located in Marrakech, within a 5-minute walk of Marrakesh Museum and Almoravid Koubba. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A shuttle from the airport to the hotel is provided for a surcharge (available on request).
