This is my third time in Marrakech and I always stay in Riads. I missed the welcoming of the owners who were not there, breakfast is regular and the bathroom in my room did not have a pleasant odor. I had richer experiences from previous times
Lacks charm and proximity typical of the Riads
The location is good, easy to get there and walking distance to medina, YSL garden. It is also very quite. The staffs are nice and helpful with luggage and useful tips for attractions, food and how to avoid dispute with the monkey or snake guys at the square. The Riad itself is very beautiful. But we came wrong time, as it was too cold in January to enjoy the pool or the terrace. Somehow, the whole ambience was cold, it became better in the morning with the birds sing. Maybe I had too much expectation for the Riad. Marrakech smells commercial... Many choices of yogurt, cookies and fresh made breads for breakfast.
The place is beautiful. The decor is mixed with modern boho chic and maroccan style, just as in the pictures. The staff and breakfast is also nice. Very nice place to stay in the medina area, we recommend!
The only thing that we were not happy with was a loud group of people in the morning at breakfast that were discussing something veeery loudly just outside our room around 8.30 in the morning. Our room was just next to the breakfast room so it was impossible to sleep.
Homely feel, staff amazing. Rooftop lovely. Breakfast also very good, and slightly different each day.
Bathroom bit basic with basic amenities. Nothing major at all.
Beautiful surroundings, WiFi is strong.
Hosts were not very attentive, we did not receive a key for the front door or our room. We were left waiting outside for a long time when we returned in the evening as there were no staff around to let us in. No one was there to ask about dinner either.
