First time in Marrakech - nice and safe riad in me
I booked a room with one queen and one twin bed for my family traveling together. Overall the riad is nice, safe and clean. The main door is always closed so nobody irrelevant can get in the riad. The location is very quite during the day and the night. There is a well decorated lobby area if you want to chill, talk or work. If you know the way, it only takes you 5 minutes from the riad to the night market/the square. The shower was very nice especially after we had a long flight followed by 4-hour train. The breakfast was very nice - a combination of Moroccan food and European pastry. The orange juice is fresh and very good!
The room we had was a little bit small for three people, but we only stayed for one night, so it wasn't a big problem. You might want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. The riad was very hard to find if it is your first time in the Medina. Call ahead of time to ask for directions. Do NOT trust people in the medina who say that they will lead the way for you.
A stay at Riad Hamdane & Spa places you in the heart of Marrakech, within a 10-minute walk of Jemaa el-Fnaa and Dar Si Said Museum. Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
