An excellent variety for breakfast , good location close to the Hop on Hop off bus route as well as good restaurants. The room was spacious and quality of finishes were very good.

The shower was very small and cramped.

beautiful decor and furnishings that blended well traditional finishes with modern colors and fixtures

very unsafe bathroom...shower leaks water on slippery marble floor...no gran bars to help steady oneself entering, leaving or using the shower....shower doors are deceptive...could be interoreted as fixed in place and usable as braced to steady a person. however, often the shower doors move in inexpected ways.this could cause shower used to fall on hard surfaces and/or hurt badly one’s fingers by catching them in shower doors as those doors move unexpectedly...i urge the hotel to have “bathroom safety expert examine this situation...aome simple “grab bars” would help greatly.

Location is great. Everything is walking distance and walk is actually nice and enjoyable.

The food. It was just OK. I would not say it was bad, but it was not adequate to the hotel. Breakfast. Generally OK, yet it has only ONE hot dish (omelet). We could not find any hot oatmeal for example. The pastries was not looking like freshly baked. Dinner - Looks great, service is FANTASTIC. Yet the dish section is not that great as you would expect from ~$100 per person restaurant.

First class service from the moment collected at the airport. I also noticed small details many times that a member of staff would not pass by a piece of litter without picking it up or passing a chair out of place without straightening the chair and so on. Every member of staff had pride in the hotel. The breakfasts are great, and again are well serviced by staff. Special mention must go to the staff at the concierge desk, always beyond helpful thank you. We also made use of the spa which was excellent and finally must say the building itself is beautiful both inside and out.

Just a couple of constructive suggestions; It would be nice to have a sommelier available at the Príncipe de Asturias restaurant. The hotel hosts private and corporate events which I am sure they excel at and is not a problem. We just had the misfortune to coincide with a Twitter corporate event, which in itself had no negative impact, it was only when a considerable number of the party were allowed to overrun the 'chill out' area having already consumed copious amounts of alcohol that was dissappointing.
