Hotel Parc Belair, WorldHotels Distinctive

Just outside the centre in green grounds, the Hotel Parc Belair, WorldHotels Distinctive, is a refined retreat in the leafy Belair district, with a lakeside terrace restaurant, a choice of private dining rooms, a business centre, a sauna and fitness centre, free Wi-Fi, and rooms, suites and apartments with satellite TV, a work desk and secure storage. It is about ten minutes' walk to the casino, the cathedral and the old town, with the National Theatre and the Villa Vauban art gallery close by. The main railway station is about two kilometers away, and frequent buses reach the centre in just a few minutes. Luxembourg City spreads across high plateaus and deep green valleys, its UNESCO-listed old quarters and walls among the most dramatic in Europe. The Adolphe Bridge arches high over the Petrusse valley, the Grund district lines the river beneath the ramparts, and the Kirchberg plateau gathers the gleaming offices of the European Union. Art and history museums cluster on the Kirchberg and in the old town, and a glass lift drops from the upper city to the green valley floor below. Green river valleys thread right through the capital, giving the Belair district quiet walking paths just beyond the busy centre.
