Near night market, phusi mount view pointand Royal palace. Staff are very nice.
The hotel is in a UNESCO protected building so it looks amazing. Rooms are also well equipped and large compared to others. The hotel has a great location - close to the night market but not at the heart of it so it's quiet and less busy. They offer free cookies and bananas for all guests. The staff are amazing too - they assisted us to give alms directly to the monks
Not a lot to complain but they are quite expensive for Luang Prabang. The services they offer are also generally more expensive than market rates - including airport transfer, massage, etc - and I don't think they're any better.
The hotel was in a beautiful location in Luang Prabang. Easy to reach restaurants, the night market, and also walk to various cultural and historic sites in the city. Walking by the Mekong River is quite easy from the hotel and strolling the city at night is wonderful! There are very nice coffee spots very close to the hotel so finding a variety of breakfasts is quite easy. I loved the cleanliness of the room and the staff were very professional and would always clean my room, replace supplies and leave things spotless each day while I was out for breakfast.
I found that the hotel wifi was bad at times to the point that websites could not load and often packets were dropped from my MAC laptop to the wifi router or to google.com or facebook.com. This should not happen and the hotel should look at upgrading to a mesh wireless system if they do not have one. It seemed especially bad in the evenings when guests were back. Please look at upgrading your wireless connectivity. It would make the evenings much more enjoyable to be able to upload photos, connect with friends on FB, ,etc.
A little bit bad toilet smell
Hotel was in decent condition, if a little rough round the edges. The buildings were very attractive from the outside, although less impressive inside the room. Staff were really friendly and helpful. I would happily stay again. Note that paying for tours and activities through the local travel agents was far cheaper, especially for a group, than doing so through the hotel.
