This place is run by people without a sense of ethics or social responsibility. It is beyond obvious that during a country-wide State of Emergency in which all domestic travel is banned, the ability of people to arrive at the hotel at the booking date is out of their hands. There could be no greater extenuating circumstances. To not grant a refund or even a credit during such a time speaks to the terribly low character of the management. Such people have no business working in customer service. This is profit over people. It’s unethical and truly despicable. I would strongly discourage anyone from staying at this hotel and I hope the people running it experience a moral wake-up call and somehow grow to become decent human beings. Your souls are very sick, indeed.
The convenience of this hotel is the one thing, of the many, I really liked.
Airport location was a must for us since we were leaving to Cusco on a 4am flight the next day. We arrived at 12pm the previous day so we had some time to do some mall shopping, money exchange and site seeing before heading to the highlands. Our other family member was arriving around 11pm. We would have stayed in Miraflores however the much needed rest, getting ready for the long day ahead, made up for the back and forth commute time that we would have wasted going to Miraflores to the airport. It worked out very well as we were well rested, took the early flight and arrived early morning in Cuxco, We then had breakfast and by 9am were on our way in a rental car to visit part of Sacred Valley. By the end of the day we had visited Chinceros archeological site, Chincheros town and the church, Moray, Maras saltmines, Urubamba (where we had a late lunch) town and then drove to Ollantaytambo. Parked our rental car to take the 7pm train to Aguas Calientes and arrive in AC by 8:30 pm.
Nothing that I can say, The hotel is very clean and has good security. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
Except for one person that was responsible for the business center and breakfast who was always friendly and answered all our requests, the attitude of most of the staff was not very good.
The location was fantastic for staying there for a lay over at the kona airport. You could easily walk straight across from the airport.
The hotel literally charged us extra because the room with two double beds, that easily slept four people, was only booked for two people online. It was ridiculous and unnecessary. I was disappointed they were not rational about that.
