9.6 Excellent
Pros: A novel, comfortable, friendly, convenient and personal place to stay in Lille. The rooms with a spa (jacuzzi and hammam) are incredible, the decoration tasteful, the TVs huge - it’s a super relaxing place to stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment is very nice, the bed is very comfortable and the owner is very kind.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The apartment is well appointed, conveniently situated, clean, spacious and equipped with a hot tub and sauna which we were so busy sightseeing we didn't get to use. The two bedrooms have ensuite showers & hand basins. There are many bars and restaurants in close proximity and a patisserie on the ground floor. The covered & screened terrace was a great area to relax after a day of sight seeing.
Cons: Because there were two couples sharing this apartment it was a little disappointing to find that there was only the one toilet considering the bedrooms each had washing facilities.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The appartment was impeccably clean. We enjoyed the modern and smart interior. Above all the bed was one of the best we ever slept in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our suite was bright, airy, stylish and clean!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is excellent and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
Cons: Difficult to park and understand parking charges but once we worked it out it was ok , I think a clearer description of this would benefit future clients .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the property was perfect and the staff were really helpful and friendly.
Cons: Check in wasn't until 5pm.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, modern and clean interior
Cons: Front security door did not close automatically - had to push shut!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were friendly and helpful. The property was immaculate and a treat to go back to each evening. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the steam room each night. We couldnt recommend it more highly.
Cons: The apartment was perfect. The neighborhood was very quiet though but it just may have been the time of year that we were there.

Pros: Clean comfortable and friendly plus great location
Cons: The room we had was spotless and very comfortable bed. But the terrace and garden though small was a real bonus. It is just one stop on metro from Euro Gare and dead opposite the station. Our room was on the side away from the busy road so very peaceful. The young lady who dealt with us could not have been nicer or more helpful. We will certainly visit again

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is wonderful. The staff was terrific and very attentive. The location was great, as were the breakfast offerings. Would definitely stay here again or recommend to someone else visiting the area.
Cons: There were no international news channels offered on the TV. Usually there is at least one station that you can watch to get caught up on international news. At a quick glance it looked like there were some, but when you clicked on it, the channel wan't available. Disappointing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bathtub was huge and deep. I was in town for sports and it was nice to be able to take a bath after a long day on the field. The bed was also very fluffy and comfortable. The location was perfect and the staff were all incredibly helpful as well.
Cons: Room service was very limited and not very good quality. The bar downstairs can get very loud which makes it tough to sleep if you're there over the weekend. The climate control in the room was locked and the set temperature was a bit too high for my tastes. The rooms are also quite small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The quality of the facilities. Excellent coffee machine. Free mini bar. Brilliant bed.
Cons: The was nothing didn't like
8.3 Excellent
Pros: FRONT DESK THEY ARE FRIENDLY AND ALWAYS TRY TO HELP, LOCATION AND ROOM CLEANING

Pros: Friendly staff and very comfortable bed, right in the center of the city. Everything is within a walking distance from the hotel. Also, the parking garage is easy and convenient. Breakfast was pretty good too. I definitely recommend to stay here.

Pros: Staff were really helpful. Great location of the hotel. Hotel and room really comfortable and well equipped.
Cons: The breakfast was a little expensive at €16 each.

Staff were very helpful and accommodating. They only small negative for us was we faced into a small courtyard area with a huge a fire escape . Cons: No AC. Little room.

Pros: Amazing hotel, great location and extremely helpful staff
Cons: The air con in our room wasn’t very good but the staff provided an extra fan, certainly wouldn’t stop us staying again
7.1 Good
Cons: Waiting half an hour to be served a drink in the garden before and excellent dinner
7.1 Good
Cons: I had two wifi codes given to me - neither worked My colleagues said they got access but signal was terribly poor. Water pressure in the shower was so weak that it made little sense.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We loved the hotel the moment we stepped in, it has a nice history to it. Very clean, comfortable bed. Friendly staff.
Cons: The restaurant was closed. Limited food for breakfast. Price was overrated. Didn't like that the toilet was not connected to the bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and awesome staff. Very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was a true French delight! Only 5 steps away from the central city area and still a very quiet spot. The best stay in Lille!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly. We had room service and the good was very good. Make sure you book ahead of time to eat at the restaurant
Cons: The carpet in the room took a little something away from the character of the house but it is a beautiful hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing atmosphere of a small but beautiful hotel, but perhaps the most enjoyable part of the stay was the fact that all the staff were so friendly and tried really hard to assist us in everything we needed. At one point we were wanting to have a beer from the bar but the barman was on his break, despite this one of the receptionists took the time to bring us a selection of local beers and give us an overview of each when she wasn’t exactly sure what each were. Nothing was too much hassle and every member of staff tried their hardest to communicate with us despite the fact at times there may have been a language barrier. Chilled, relaxed and high class establishment and the staff members are absolutely exceptional. Amazing breakfast as well!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely building with an ideal and relaxing small garden to the rear. Location ideal and peaceful despite being near town. Sights were within easy walking distance.
Cons: Although bathroom pleasing to the eye not all that functional. Despite immediate attention by staff still could not get plug to function in basin/sink and water just drained out. Would have appreciated a nonslip surface in shower. Breakfast far too expensive for food offered.

Pros: Close to the. Centre but only a short walk. Very comfortable and loved the spa
10.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast, friendly staff, swimming pool, spa
Cons: nothing
6.3 Good
Pros: Very comfortable large bed
Cons: Extortionate bar prices - €8 for a tonic water!
6.3 Good
Pros: The room was quiet and comfortable; everything, including the pool area, very clean. Wonderful inner-city garden, where one can read a book and drink tea. The breakfast was good but not excellent. The hotel is fine and with the historic and fantastic space a lot of potential... for the moment not fully used.
Cons: This is a very good 4* hotel; not worth its 5*. Staff was polite enough, but just not up to the standard of a 5* establishment. The hotel must get a designer - the lobby area but also the room are furnished without taste, as if with leftover pieces. The pool is very noisy - the water evacuation is not well designed so anytime one swims, the pool literally... makes noise! Again, should not happen in a 5* hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, beautiful building and very clean. Helpful staff.
Cons: the car park was very expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful conversion of an old hospital with lots of character and beautiful artifacts. There are many peaceful and interesting places to sit inside and outside. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We were shown to our room by a charming young man via the lovely old Chapel. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a clever eclectic mix of old and new decor tastefully executed. I am disabled and use a mobility scooter. This hotel was an ideal place to stay as I could get around everywhere easily. Parking was no problem opposite the hotel after dropping off luggage at the front. An exceptional experience in this special city centre hotel. We will return again next year for our first night after our Eurotunnel crossing. Absolutely highly recommend.
Cons: The Brasserie restaurant was somewhat disappointing and had a limited menu for my husband to choose from as he is gluten intolerant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was extremely comfortable in the Staff was terrific
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love this hotel, stayed here a couple of times before. There is something very special about it - the mixture of old and new. The staff are wonderful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything , it was an old hospital so has history and art and gorgeous rooms. Staff were super friendly and took us on a tour of the hotel. The SPA is relaxing and adding a beauty treatment is well worth it.
Cons: Everything was lovely, although our room was underneath the loading bay so a bit noisy but they even give you earplugs so it was not a big deal

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room, good breakfast, friendly staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was superb with a lot of choice- both continental and cooked, and a lot from a local source. A good choice of fruit purees, yoghurt, jams, bread (including a lovely sugar infused brioche,), cold meat, cheese, fruit, We nearly went out for breakfast, but I'm glad we didn't, as this surpassed anything for choice and cost.
Cons: There were a few people begging on the pavements opposite, but they didn't bother any tourists, and seemed to be more as if they were asking for payment for helping find car park spaces
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, great and very friendly personnel, nice and clean rooms, great breakfast buffet, very close to center and walking distance of shopping centers.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: friendly staff, nice interior, clean and cozy room
Cons: room facing to the street very loud during the night

Cons: Leaving
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff Clean, comfortable with quality towels and toiletries.
Cons: There is nothing not to like
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent, room very good and the shower excellent
Cons: As it was a very small hotel it did very well
5.4 Okay
Pros: We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. Beds were comfortable and rooms were nice. Staff was courteous and responsive as they could be.
Cons: While the location was just steps away from the center of Lille, the street it is located on is night and day compared to the street over. Kids and other beggars confronted you as you entered and exited the hotel. It was located by a popular restaurant, that was open until the early hours of the morning, which makes it difficult when you have to sleep with the windows open. A/C did not cool rooms at all. When questioned staff, was told that it was normal. Mosquitoes were horrible. Worst two nights of sleep I have had on my trip in France thus far. Don’t book here in the summer unless you are used to sleeping in the heat! Would probably stay here again if it was cooler outside and AC wasn’t needed.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The location as it’s in the centre but the area does not look nice, very dirty and smelly.
Cons: Room very small once the sofa bed for the children is open. Breakfast is not good, poor quality food. We asked for a cappuccino and fried eggs but they were not able to do them because there is no kitchen in the hotel! The area is not nice at all and smelly.
Hôtel Kanaï - Lille - Bedroom

8.6 Excellent (2,188 reviews)
Overview Reviews
A stay at Hôtel Kanaï places you in the heart of Lille, steps from Rihour Square and Lille Grand Square. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant hotel in downtown Lille. The staff was very nice, good breakfast, comfy bed, decent shower; all good! Rooms are small, but that is mentioned before you book, so to be expected. The room didnt feel cramped though, just don't bring huge suitcases ;) We much enjoyed our stay and the location couldnt be better.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel in the city center friendly staff. Great for a short stay
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The kindness of the guys at the front desk Moreover they accepted our little dog though it was not accepted on the site
Cons: The noise of people in the street during the night and also at breakfast to be seated just next to another couple while all the other tables were free
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff. Comfy bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: In general it was excellent all round and the breakfast was superb.
Cons: A small complaint was that we booked a suite for 4 adults and the sleeper couch, although comfortable for one, was not really big enough for two. Also, a fan in the room would be good for summer because the aircon doesn't reach that room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location and service are both stellar. The rooms were very fairly priced for the city (and especially considering I went during a very busy festival in September). The breakfast features locally produced products and is really tasty.
Cons: The rooms, as advertised,, are quite small. There are no screens on the windows and so as much as I wanted to keep the windows open all day, there probably would have been too many bugs.
4.2 Okay
Pros: nothing
Cons: i could not use wi-fi, small room, NO transparent curtains, only opaque curtains (so NO daylight if u want some intimacy). old fashion windows so all noise from the street directly in your head .... not to mention the building does not have elevator.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It is right in the heart of Lille, everything you need is just a few steps away. The staff was super kind, they really want you to feel like it’s home.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. I was travelling with an elderly person, and the staff were as helpful and accommodating as they could be. We were always greeted with smiles and friendliness. Breakfast was great, filled with local bakery, cheese, meats, honey, hot bacon and eggs. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with beds so cosy it was hard to get out of them. The best thing about this place was the location. It was a 2 minute walk from the main square, and it was within walking distance of everything to see in Lille. Thank you, Hotel Kanaï, for giving us a wonderful stay in Lille!
Cons: There was not a thing to criticise about this hotel. It is a perfect place to stay while visiting Lille.
La Valiz - Lille - Bedroom
10
8.6 Excellent (1,054 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at La Valiz, you'll be centrally located in Lille, steps from Euralille and 5 minutes by foot from Old Stock Exchange. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Mostly very tasteful decor and not the usual bland hotel chain style. Friendly and helpful staff at check in and check out. The room was fairly small, but I knew this would be the case and only had one small bag with me. Space to hang clothes. All very clean. Comfortable bed. Bathroom with nice rain shower and toiletries. Tea and coffee making facilities. With the windows shut there was no noise from outside at all. I didn't have breakfast here, so can't comment on that.
Cons: Pillows were a bit saggy/lumpy. Only instant coffee and no black tea available in the room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, across from the metro. Nice room and bathroom!
7.9 Good
Pros: Rooms together, staff very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable. Incentive to be green. Situated close to Eurostar. Lovely breakfast, perhaps more fruit, maybe some tomato and cucumber with the cheese and meats but that’s being picky. However the drinks, yoghurt, bread, cheese, meats, croissants, eggs and bacon etc are lovely. Air conditioning welcome, although instructions to use the unit programmer would be appreciated. Body wash available but not hair shampoo in our room and a refresh of coffee capsules on the second day would be nice but these are minor details. Free WiFi appreciated. Any requests were dealt with immediately and with manners and a smile.
Cons: The more open plan layout of room 116 is a concern. The bathroom and walk in shower is in full view of the entrance door. A door for privacy would be preferable. The entrance door cannot be opened if someone is in the toilet or shower.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location so close to the station and the old town. The room was tastefully decorated and it was great having a coffee machine in our room. The staff was helpful and friendly. Big bonus is the lift.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The biggest asset of the hotel are the stuff! Moreover, clean and fine room, French breakfast and tiny elevator & corridor :) Everything creates a nice atmosphere!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was great location! Room was clean, stylish and with amazing view ! Breakfast area was very cosy and seemed freshly decorated. Breakfast was very good quality, freshly baked bread, scrambled eggs, bacon, french variation of cheese, juice, coffee - everything was delicious :) I would recommend this place highly. All main attractions just 5-15min walking distance away!
Cons: There was no parking place available, but that was not a problem. You can park at Opera underground parking for €14,5 per 24hours, walking distance to hotel approx 5-10min right through the heart of Lille.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean, contemporary, friendly. Great location - 5/10 min walk to the old town. Just 15 min walk to the international Eurostar station.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spotlessly clean
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect, restaurants, old Town, shops, cafes and tourist attractions all within 20 minutes walk. The rooms are comfortable, with air conditioning, great showers and coffee machines.
Cons: The lift is small.....but at least there is a lift :)
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was very good! Nice toiletries!
Cons: Not enough pillows. But the hotel was full!

Overview Reviews
Located in Lille (Old Lille), Princesse Apart'hôtel is within a 15-minute walk of Old Stock Exchange and Citadel of Lille. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: in historic part of Lille, at 50 m from 'Boulangerie", this appartment in historic building suits well for a visit to the city. Price compared to price and location is better than good.
Cons: kitchen might have little more equipment. we are used to cook dinner almost every night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location.
Cons: N/a
5.5 Okay
Pros: Good location for what we needed
Cons: Extraction fan in bathroom didn't work. A fluid leak from toilet discharge pipe into bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nicely decorated apartments with a kitchenette. Great location walking distance from the city center in an area also referred to as old Lille. The streets have many cool bars and bustling restaurants. We felt very at home here during a trip to the Elton John concert.
Cons: Shower's a bit small, the bathroom in general is not that fancy. Steep winding stairs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Simply perfect. So easy to find and get into. Felt safe and perfect location. Thank you!
Cons: There were road works going on which was a slight pain with the one way system - however this could not be helped and we found parking easily up the road.

Pros: Hotel was beautiful in the center, staff was polite, breakfast was fine
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Carlton is a beautiful building in the heart of Lille. We stayed for the Braderie weekend and loved everything about the hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean also so soundproof that we overslept the first morning while thousands of people walked the street below. Extremely helpful and friendly staff throughout our stay. Pure luxury and would return.
Cons: Nothing to dislike
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room, the breakfast, the luxury
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Journey by car and hotel staff swiftly took car to park and returned it to us on check out but it was 30euro day ( we arrived late Monday and left after breakfast Tuesday so counted as 2 days parking )
Cons: In the dark it was very difficult to spot driving between pedestrian bollards on pedestrian roadway ( also used by cars) but coming from the U.K. we thought that wasn’t allowed, so missed the turn between the hippopotamus restaurant and Paul’s bakery and then got very lost in traffic round and round but staff were very helpful to get us finally to the hotel and came out to find and meet us!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The building itself is a landmark in Lille. The rooms are elegant and spacious and the gym is really convenient. The lobby bar offers a wide selection of worldwide whiskeys in an elegant atmosphere.
Cons: Hotel Carlton Lille is flawless
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, rooms were authentic and spacious
Cons: The breakfast was a bit limited.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Comfy and luxurious.Very friendly staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the 3rd time we've stayed at the Carlton , and it's better this time , after the re fit . Its friendly staff and central location means it's always number 1 when we visit Lille , and the bed is super comfy after a long day seeing the sites and shopping hard .
Cons: The lack of uk tv channels
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had stunning views from our room along the road to the station on the one side and to the other side to the opera and its places. We loved the room as it had two doors to seperate from the hotel corridor and it was equipped with a coffee and tea maker. There was no trouser press as announced, but we received ironing utensils on request. After all, the staff was very helpful, albeit a bit sober.

Pros: The rooms are clean, nice breakfast, friendly staff. It's a little walk to Eurostar & train station. Otherwise, it's fine.
Cons: My card was blocked everytime I leave the room and I had to go down from 6th floor to reception to reset the card
6.7 Good
Pros: Good location, breakfast is just enough
Cons: Very noisy in mornings, elevator and housecleaning
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was clean, staff very friendly and helpfull, good breakfast, very convenient location, room fit for purpose and comfortable
Cons: The double bed was too small, pictures on the site are some what deceiving: beds appear larger than they are, one of the elevators was really small
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast was fine - a good range of continental style items
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was clean and comfortable
Cons: No safety box inside the rooms
7.1 Good
Pros: On walking distant to the centre and the museum. Good breakfast.
Cons: We arrived on time but still we had to wait for our room, that is weird. The parking is very narrow.
7.1 Good
Pros: Its in the perfect location for the bars and restaurants and only a short walk to the park, fairground, boating lake and town
Cons: Lots of beggars to the point its getting out of control The air-conditioning within the room is very poor and can only be set at 16 which is far from adequate in the summer months, The cleaners failed to clean our room so we had to ask for some fresh towels from reception at 11.30pm at night when we had returned after a night out and make our own bed which was not acceptable
6.3 Good
Pros: Great staff.. Good breakfast, comfortable bed
Cons: Rundown hotel, not so clean bathroom Barking pets in the next room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location was great, it takes 10 mins to walk the city center. The hotel has a closed car park, 13€ per day. Breakfast was satisfactory. The cushions were nice. There are a couple of supermarkets around.
Cons: The bed is a bit small for 2 people. The toilet is a bit small and when you flush it, it spreads all the water around. The bed was a bit noisy.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The man that I did check in was great and super friendly
5.0 Okay
Pros: Large room, near the city center.
Cons: No aircondition in room under the roof. Extremly hot at night. Very unpleasant owner/manager who agress you in the morning asuming you did not paid for the breakfast while it is included....
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice neighborhood, the staff was super friendly and helpful. Also the kitchen is good, you can cook something in the evening for yourself. And every bed has a plug,a light,a locker and a curtain which is very convenient.
Cons: There was only one shower for girls and one for boys for the whole floor.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A short walk from the town centre, this is definitely one of the better hostels I’ve stayed in. My son and I stayed in one of the double rooms which was nicely furnished and had an excellent shower. We didn’t use the kitchen but the common bar area was great, full of atmosphere and good food: deliciously crispy fries and yummy plates of cheese and charcuterie (aka posh ham). The staff were lovely and very patient with my attempts to speak French. Even though they clearly spoke English they answered in French which I appreciated.
Cons: Wifi was a bit sketchy
9.2 Excellent
Cons: The members of staff were a bit rude. Not the warmest.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The receptions girls are great :) respect for your hard work.
Cons: The room had mosquitos, smelled funny, the bathroom shower was not comfortable, it was stuffy inside, I wanted to make a coffee but I was scared of the cleaning lady in the kitchen.
6.3 Good
Cons: Shower cream wasn't filled.
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean and tidy....good breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Building, rooms
Cons: Not so funny
5.0 Okay
Pros: I feel like it is a 10€ hostel, not a 20+€. You have to figure out everything for yourself, make your own bed, and the bathrooms were terrible in my opinion. The beds were comfortable, though, and the personal electric outlets, light, locker and curtain were very nice to have.
Cons: The bathrooms smelled of humidity, they felt dirty, and there was nowhere to place toiletries in the shower. The shower itself was a spray that went everywhere except over your head, so it was difficult to shower. I felt they were very uncomfortable. It seems under-staffed. There is only 1 person at reception (only staff I saw in a big big hostel) and in order to ask anything you have to wait for them to finish all check ins, check outs, etc. Was never able to get help from them. They didn't seem to eager to help either but I guess they are just busy. The lockers are very noisy, they dont stay open, so even if people want to be quiet it's very hard with that. No soap in the hand-washing basin. Have to make your own bed. I feel like it was very overpriced for what you get in return. Feels like a 10€ hostel, not a 25€ like I paid. They have too many beds and rooms with too little staff and bathrooms.

Pros: The location was great and the parking very convenient.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location staff
Cons: Nothing
6.7 Good
Pros: Clean tidy rooms but a bit basic
Cons: Accesses was difficult to find and the side road was very isolated,, parking charges at hotel a bit high, lack of tea making facilities and to few English speaking TV channels you can only watch the BBC news for so long
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean, safe and good location.
Cons: we had some flies and mosquitoes in the room
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is close to Flandres station and 5-10 mins walk from the main centre of town. Not too much traffic noise and reasonable soundproofing between rooms. Clean and very comfortable. Bar is pleasant and open late.
Cons: Air conditioning did not cool the room sufficiently - it may be centrally controlled, so if you like your room at 18-20 degrees you may find it's warmer that you want.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find close to the station. Staff were friendly and main public areas and room very clean.
Cons: Access floors and corridors could do with a refresh... however that’s me just being picky.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good Location, close both to train station and city centre. Good buffet breakfast. Small but cozy and very clean room. Great Value for money.
Cons: When I asked for booking a paid parking space, they could inform me that from Saturday 7pm till Monday 9am you can park for free in the streets around the hotel. Anyway, when we discover that, it was not a problem to cancel for free the parking reservation.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I booked this hotel because I was visiting a friend and it was really close to my friend's apartment and also to the main train station. It was a convenient location and fine for one night's stay at a very reasonable price!
6.3 Good
Pros: Location is great
Cons: the room are too small and the bathroom are very very small
7.5 Good
Pros: Perfect location for seeing the sites of Lille and easy to walk to from the Eurostar station. The friendly staff on the 24-hour desk were keen to help.
Cons: The room could have been a little cleaner. It would be great if they could replace paper cups in the room with mugs.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for money. Good level of cleanliness. The room was pretty small, but basically, I believe we got what we paid for.
Cons: Our only gripes are small ones: No coffee/tea making facilities in the room (even Travelodge give you that); the lack of individual locking safes in the room meant I carried my passport & money everywhere. A safe was available at reception, but it would have been a nuisance to access every day. And finally, I thought facecloths are usually standard, but none were provided. Only minor things; truth be told I'd use the hotel again and bring a travel kettle next time.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The hotel is located in the amazing place. The check in experience was very smooth.
Cons: The room was full of mosquitos which didn't allow us to sleep
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A nice hotel close to the city center, metro and railway stations. There is a big supermarket and shopping streets nearby. The room was large and comfortable. There is a lift to the upper floors.
Cons: Something was wrong with the blanket or linen because I woke up from hot almost every night despite open windows.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location, quite close to the city centre. About a ten-minute walk from Lille Europe rail station, and just a short walk from Lille Flandres rail station. Great tea and coffee. Helpful and pleasant reception staff.
Cons: Breakfast selections could maybe have included fruit and some low-sugar options? Space in the hotel (room, bathroom, lift) is very compact although this is dictated by the layout of the premises.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff central lokation good hotel cs price ratio
Cons: It can probably get aarm in the summer but you can borrow fans

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The reception were welcoming, informative .
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Fast wifi, clean, modern bathroom, very comfortable bed. Nice service in the hotel restaurant. One of the front desk staff , Nicolas, was very nice. And two of the other gentleman as well though I did not catch their names.
Cons: the location is the biggest drawback. it is quite a walk from the eurostar station, especially if you have large suitcases. The uneven, decorative paving of the sidewalks do not help either. The area around the hotel is truly industrial looking and not very pleasant. The men at the front desk did not help us bring in our baggage and I was surprised since this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. Even though the hotel is modern, it feels and looks more like an office building than a hotel. The food in the restaurant is ok, nothing really special if I am honest.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good room and great location
Cons: Was told breakfast was included but they charged me twenty euros each so not happy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, very spacious rooms and numerous amenities such as as a theatre, excellent location, park, train station and huge mall right in front of the hotel. Simply perfect.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and modern hotel.. I was surprised they made the room twice day. Casino on site was a bonus entertainment, loved it although lost money.
Cons: None I can think of
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The reception staff were amazing, they were so friendly and helpful. Made our stay really enjoyable. We were unexpectedly upgraded and our suite was outstanding. We will definitely be returning. So good to have such a fabulous pet friendly hotel.
Cons: The brasserie was average. Food was good but the management/ service was practically non existent. Had to get up from our table after sitting for about 10 minutes to ask the staff what the format was... Buffet or ordering from menu as no one had explained anything to us! Had to get up from table after another 10 minutes to ask to order drinks. Same again when we asked for the bill... Waited 15 minutes and asked 3 times. Waitresses did their jobs but felt the manager was weak. Boked a session in the spa for 10am, sat there for 15 minutes waiting but no one turned up. Husband rang reception from our room and was told that the beautician was off sick, had not been informed. Poor communication between departments.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Good location, short walk to city centre. Bed was comfy.
Cons: We complained about several things but got ignored which is really not okay for a 5-star hotel. Service should be most important! We stayed at many hotels but this was so disappointing. Also breakfast choice is poor.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location at first seemed out of the way, however once we got our bearings, I thought the location was perfect, close to enough to the town centre and also close to the major shopping mall as well as being right on top of the casino which I do not recommend as there was long queue to get in and nothing to rave about.
Cons: nothing to complain about :)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, clean and modern room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable with large room and good range of facilities. Fairly central and private parking made access into Lille very easy.
Cons: No dislikes.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff, very clean. Situated right next to the station. the rooms were surprisingly spacious
Cons: The parking was an issue for us but there is a multi next door
4.6 Okay
Pros: Good room and great reception by staff. Good location in city centre and close to all amenities including restaurants and shopping. Only issue was the expensive parking situation.
Cons: I was not too thrilled at having to pay €28.70 for parking at a hotel. This should be included in the fare for the room or clearly stated at time of booking. Also breakfast options were fairly slim .
8.3 Excellent
Pros: the hotel staff were great and very accommodating. The room was large and comfortable, with lots of space for luggage, etc.
Cons: The breakfast was fine but it's the first hotel "buffet" I've had in Europe (and France in particular!) in which no vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes, etc.) were offered. As well, those bathrooms are SMALL!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Bad internet connection

Cons: Toliet separate from bathroom
7.7 Good

5.0 Okay
Cons: No hot water. Because they decided to do some work on the hot water system with no warning. And they refuse to give a refund on the room. Been waiting for a shower now for 4 hours... Terrible customer service - rude staff. I'd been working late the night before. The water was cut off at 9.30 and they basically told.me.it was my fault for not getting up earlier... Outrageous.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very central and near the station . The staff were very helpful and polite.
Cons: No bar in the evenibg
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: nothing comes to mind .hated the place
Cons: dirty toilet and blood stains on base of bed asked if we could buy tea or coffee in morning told we have to pay €11 for breakfast no kettle or tea and coffee in room but are showing on photos when booking
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Position is perfect , offering all you need for visiting Lille. Quick access for both rail stations and everything you might want to see in Lille.
Cons: It would be good if have a tea and coffee maker and a bottle of water.
7.9 Good
Pros: Basic hotel, excellent location
Cons: Parking at the hotel was a nightmare to find the underground parking area. If you’re going with a car make sure you ask the hotel to confirm directions or you’ll never find it
6.0 Good
Pros: Location is just perfect, although if you are coming with your own car I highly recommend booking private parking at the hotel - it is the cheapest and most convenient option. Clean cozy rooms.
Cons: No AC in the room. Water in the shower is impossible to regulate - bursts of cold/hot water through out your showering time no matter how you position the mixer. No security box inside the room.
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel is right next to the train station, making it very easy upon arrival to and departure from the city. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. It was announced clearly before at the reception that there would be no air conditioning, which we really appreciate. It was extremely hot the weekend we came for Lille, but at least there was a fan in the room. The staff was very friendly. The room was very basic and didn't have many extras: it had two beds, a chair, a tv, a mini bar and not that much extra space. Considering the price we paid, it's alright.
Cons: The bathroom was quite disappointing. We knew there would be a bath from the information on booking.com, but the plug didn't work so we couldn't use the bath. Also, the water from the shower would suddenly turn extremely cold then extremely hot before it returns to your adjusted temperature every 20 seconds which was really annoying. Ventilation was also quite bad.
7.9 Good
Pros: The Staff - One heavy night I returned to the hotel in the early hours. They went above and beyond to help me and were always pleasant. They deserve a raise.
Cons: I found my shower each morning failed to keep a consistent temperature. One second super hot, next second ice cold. Kept switching even though i didn't touch the tap. Made if difficult to enjoy.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really convenient for the Eurostar. Great staff to chat to, get me French going after a while, great warm welcome and advice.
Cons: Nothing. Just fine for my trip
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant location with secure parking right in the centre of Lille - perfect for our trip to the braderie. Good value and included a good breakfast each morning.
Cons: The room was quite basic and did not have tea/coffee making facilities.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location and staff were friendly
Cons: Room wasn’t ready but staff were very apologetic
7.9 Good
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Hotel signage and directions
7.5 Good
Pros: Good value - clean but basic. Good value breakfast. Great view - balcony was a nice surprise. Excellent position for seeing Lille which was pleasant.
Cons: Really hot room. We were given a fan but still too hot. Thought property had parking. It didn't. We paid €25 to park for 24 hours but it was a hot 10 minute walk with cases.
7.1 Good
Cons: Breakfast was no value for money. If you compare it to the 10€ breakfast at Ibis, it’s very low standard. Sunday: No eggs, no fresh bread/baguette, no non-dairy milk, jams in packaging, overall no selection. Not good.
6.5 Good
Pros: Frankly, I only liked the hospitality provided by the receptionist Laetitia, but as soon as I walked in I wanted to change hotel, but her smile, her warm welcome and lots of patience to provide me with the information needed about the place, made it "almost ok." Until I met the other two! But I stayed for my two days and did not have any major problems!
Cons: OMG, one cannot even walk around the bed, when you are in the bathroom, you can enter depending on your size! If you are too big, beware!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Breakfast good and taken on roof balcony.
Cons: Quite basic room but ok for an overnight stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is second to none for the station or the town centre. The staff at the hotel go out of their way to help. The front of house staff speak English.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good hotel, good location and breakfast was good with a nice view
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient to both stations.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Was right next to the station, super coveniant!
Cons: I was double charged and it took three weeks after me chasing to get my money back.. was a headache. One of the receptionists told me that it was a deposit but when I called after not receiving it back, I was told by another receptionist that it wasn’t a deposit and it was not normal. Super confusing. Otherwise, the room was fine!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was very neat and compact. Very good room for a single traveler. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed this stay and would book a room here again. These rooms do not have A.C but receptionist offered to supply a fan.
Cons: Paris was very warm during this time and room does not have A.C. but receptionist offered to bring a fan to the room which is fine. A.C.would be preferable but that was the only issue.
