10.0 Excellent
Pros: Upon our arrival at the hotel we were warmly welcomed by Sonia (the hotel owner), with a cup of coffee and a detailed explanation of the hotel services and tours around. From the very first moment we felt a family atmosphere and desire to help throughout our stay at the hotel. The room we got for three people was large, spacious and very clean. So was the bathroom. Breakfast was rich and varied with a selection of tasty food. We had our dinners at the hotel restaurant which served us with wine and aperitif at the expense of the hotel. The food served on the first evening with special dishes was so tasty that we went back to eat the second evening. An event that needs to be told: When we arrived at the next hotel on our trip we noticed that we had forgotten a passport in the safe. Sonia, made an outstanding efforts to send the passport tour new location. For all of these we have our special thanks!! Finally, the hotel met all our expectations and we wholeheartedly recommend the hotel to those traveling to Cinque Terre and the surrounding.
Cons: nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible service, calm and spectacular location, very tasty food, good selection of wine
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very nice, good assortment. The room was spacious, clean, modern. Only missed a kettle, that would have made it complete. Owners were very helpful in helping us with the logistics to get to the main sightseeing points. Provided a parking card for the town that saved us many euros! The dinner was fabulous! Great, very well made dishes. Although the price was not cheap it was nothing more expensive than far less quality restaurants in the area. Definitely have to eat there at least once in this Michelin-recommended restaurant during your stay.
Cons: That we had to go...
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Big & clean rooms, bed is very comfortable, breakfast is very good. Staff are very nice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We came to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday in the Cinque Terre but wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle. This was the perfect location, between the autostrada and the coast at Levanto. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel like special guests and nothing was too much trouble. Sonia anticipated our needs without us having to ask, offering us prosecco to drink as my husband opened presents outside in the garden area.. We had our celebration meal at the hotel restaurant, In Cucina. It was excellent and memorable for the innovative dishes - the Smile lime dessert was outstanding. The breakfast was very fresh and tasty, not a huge selection but more than adequate. Very good coffee too, espresso and cappuccino and macchiato. The rooms were large and spotless, the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable - my daughter wanted to take her pillow and mattress home. The showers were excellent, copious hot water from a large shower head in a spacious shower cubicle. Just an excellent stay!
Cons: I honestly can't think of anything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a great spot about 7mins drive from Levanto. After a full day of sightseeing it’s the perfect isolated spot to come home to. Clean and fresh and fabulous staff. Food is gorgeous too but we found it tiring eating late at night after a big day. Restaurant doesn’t open till 8pm. We were up early and busy both days. You need a car. And for us coming from New Zealand and not used to driving manual or right side of road it was a great and easy place to drive to. Highly recommend. Thanks Sonia and team.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place and staff.
Cons: The Internet in the room was weak.
6.3 Good
Pros: The breakfast area is beautiful. And the location in the mountains is very nice !
Cons: The bathroom is old and small. We didn’t feel really welcome by the stuff when we arrived. And the worst: there is no spa and no swimming pool! They are building it but nothing is open yet. We chose this hotel to use those facilities so we were very disappointed,we couldn’t t have access to anything. and we didn’t feel that the value for the money was worth it then... breakfast was lovely, and the breakfast personal aswell!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had a great stay at this beautiful place very close to cinque terre. The staff was so kind and nice and made our stay comfortable and special. We will definitely come again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really a magical place to stay. The owner takes a lot of pride in everything the staff does to make sure guest are happy. The breakfast was splendid and the amenities were wonderful. We also loved the van service to get us into town. So happy we stayed here because staying in one of the 5 Cinque Terre towns would have been a nightmare.
Cons: The only issue I had was waking up to old bark all over my head and pillow from what seem to be a water leak on the ceiling. We let the owner know immediately. I would have liked some sort of compensation due to this as it was not pretty and yes I understand the place is old and in the countryside, but a little compensation would have been nice. Even if it would have been a free pesto jar. Customer service goes a long way, but I still give the place 5+ stars and I still purchased two jars of pesto.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place with every little detail well thought out. Breakfast was by far the best in our travels. Staff very helpful. Loved Walter and his free shuttle into town, just wish it ran later so it could be used to get back after dinner.
Cons: Wish the shuttle ran later and that the pool was open later, at least for quiet adults. Wish the complimentary toiletries were in refillable or otherwise earth-friendly containers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Delicious breakfast, the pool was lovely, gorgeous surrounds and the free shuttle meant it was easy to get into Levanto and back. The standout of course is Walter, the shuttle driver. He is an absolute delight,!
Cons: This is a nitpick but the apartment we were assigned (Zelina Grande) was mildly difficult to cool down despite two air conditioning units (particularly the living room area) given the level of summer humidity in Levanto.
7.9 Good
Pros: The breakfast was very good, good selection of biological products. Very friendly shuttle service.
Cons: The pool was a bit disappoining, way too warm and more suitable for kids than for adults. Overall, everything was very professional, a little more personal style would have been nice (but this is of course very subjective).
7.1 Good
Pros: Lovely breakfast gorgeous pool amazing view
Cons: Rooms small - bathroom in a junior suite tiny! Approach was precarious in a family car Reception staff not overly welcoming or friendly
7.9 Good
Pros: Peaceful and relaxing location with excellent shuttle to town and station with the charming Walter. Apartments are beautifully furnished and great breakfast in the terrace overlooking the valley. Staff were helpful in planning Cinque Terre walks.
Cons: Wi-Fi quality was pretty patchy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Villanova was quaint, charming, private, secure, and offered real old world Italian style and décor. The entire place was spotless clean and the staff was helpful, efficient, very courteous and diligent. I would recommend Villanova to anyone traveling to the Tuscany region of Italy and if I ever return, I will not even bother to research anywhere else to stay, ever.
Cons: Nothing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a true gem in the mountains. It was surprising how amazing it felt to be there because to get to it you drive on a very unpretentious road and as soon as you get to the resort you really feel amazed. The Staff is INCREDIBLE and we really felt very welcomed and cared for. The pool are is so cool, with such great views and peaceful energy, we took little siestas there.... Our room was clean, comfortable and very pretty with beautiful view of the mountain. The town Levanto is awesome! We loved going in and walking around and feeling like we lived there for a moment. The beaches are nice and fun and everyone is really nice everywhere. We also hiked to Bonassola which was a really nice experience and got a nice break from the crowds that always seem to flood Cinque Terre.. Both Levanto and Bonassola were really nice substitutes with great experiences and provided peace when we did not feel like dealing with too many tourists all around us. This resort is perfect for families and those who want to experience how Italians like to vacation.
Cons: There was nothing we disliked. Nothing. Not a thing.
7.9 Good
Cons: Coffee at breakfast wasn't up to Italian standards

Pros: Pool, location, view, staff, food, bathroom and shower - everything was wonderful
Cons: A/c in the bedroom could have been stronger
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Service / Room / View

Open to inform the travellers about events in the neighbourhood. 5 minutes walk to the center, 10 minutes to the railway station. Underground parking available. Outside possibility to take a sunbath or a drink on the terrace surrounding the building. Next to the weekly/daily market.
Cons: Parking garage is somewhat small for bigger cars. But in that area it's best to leave the car in the parking and take the train.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sylvia and staff are excellent hosts and make everything so relaxed. They offer advice on the area and even book your Cinque Terre Train tickets whilst your eating your breakfast. The hotel is in a quiet spot but is in an excellent location. Easy access to Levanto and the train station. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of options and they will even cook you something. Morning cappuccino was lovely. Overall an excellent hotel with amazing staff, great breakfast and in a great location. I highly recommend people to stay here. I certainly will be returning. Grazie mille.
Cons: That I had to leave!!!!

7.0 Good
Pros: Location - for access to Cinque Terre
Cons: It was a good hotel and the staff were excellent but possibly a little pricey for the standard. I did not do a detailed comparison to other hotels in the area though, just to other hotels we used during the trip.
7.7 Good
Pros: The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The option of a hot breakfast was unusual and appreciated. All fittings and facilities were of very good quality. One of the best showers we had in Europe.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were fantastic and the hotel felt brand new and very clean. The location is great only 400 metres from a beautiful beach. Their restaurant nearby was also excellent. Try the tuna.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, spacious and good breakfast
Cons:
6.0 Good
Pros: The hotel was very very clean!
Cons: 1. There were no shelf to put on our bath bag, and we had to put all our things out of the bathroom. 2. No air or fan (ventilation) in the bathroom 3. They put only 1 shampoo + 1 bath gel for 2 people for the whole day - there was not enough
7.6 Good
Pros: The friendly and helpful staff, plus the clean modern room.
Cons:
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was brand new, so our booking was one of their very first (and there were no reviews on your site at the time). The standard is far higher than three star and the rooms, decoration etc are very cool Italian design. There is easy parking, the breakfast was excellent and the staff extremely welcoming. A real discovery in this lovely town, many thanks!

Pros: Good staff, clean room. There is the coffie maker and water can in the room. All was great.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, easy walking to all areas of Levanto but also quiet. Off road parking for the motorbikes. Rooms were well equipped clean modern and airy. Great friendly service from Judith with information and advice.
Cons: The breakfast facilities were a little limited with just pre packaged continental options in the room although fresh bread brought in the mornings. However it was free and there were plenty of places to eat out for breakfast if you wanted to instead.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The Il Veliero was a short walk from the train station in Levanto, a perfect home base from which to explore the Cinque Terre. Our hostess was friendly and knowledgeable and provided us with a wonderful recommendation for dinner. We were delighted to have our own private garden -- complete with a lemon tree and drying rack --where we ate the breakfast provided in our room and the lunch we prepared from food we purchased from the grocery store down the street. (The refrigerator in our room helped make that possible too!) The fresh bread that was left every morning on our doorknob was a lovely surprise.
Cons: At first we were disappointed to find our breakfast of pre-packaged food and instant coffee already in our room when we arrived. However, its availability provided us with some flexibility in our morning plans and would be ideal for travelers who need to catch an early train or taxi or would like to sleep late.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good and simple..very close to town centre beach and trains. Restaurants were excellent. Room was cool clean and very comfortable
Cons: Non re useable plastic cups in the room...you really should have glass ones...I did get some on my last day though......preferred bread from the supermarket next door for breakfast
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean, a excellent staff and location.. so was the apartment..
Cons: The right side of the bed they gave sanked.. so sleeping was a litlle bit unconfortable..
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Judith was very helpful! We were able to store our luggage there after check out on our last day. The room was large with comfortable bed and modern bathroom and they cleaned the room each day. It's an easy walk from the train station and to the ferry. The supermarket at the end of the street was a great bonus too! Plus we had a small coffee machine in the room which was excellent!
Cons: The breakfast could have some more gluten free / wheat free options and it was mostly pre-packaged (lots of plastic). However they provided this in the room for you to eat whenever you want so not sure how they could make it any better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, near to restaurants and train station to Cinque Terre. Room is spacious and very clean. Staff is great. The beach is only five minutes walk
Le Divine - Levanto - Bedroom
9
9.2 Excellent (107 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Marylin Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly ... here comes the inspiration for our three rooms furnished with style and attention retail, with every comfort ... but "divine" is the town in which they find themselves, Levanto, situated in a few kilometers from Cinque Terre and the Gulf of Tigullio.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: So lovely !!! Really nice place to stay !!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cozy room with wonderful bed and a nice terass outside. Very nice staff! Our train was 6h late so we arrived at the hotel at 4:30 a.m, but the landlord came and met us and gave us our room with a smile on his face, even though we woke him up.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Incredibly nice staff and awesome location - just next to the main streets and the beach while still on a quiet enough corner. Good size clean bedroom. Bathroom was well equipped. Small terrace where we could enjoy the outdoor and leave swimming suits to dry.
Cons: Since this is not an hotel, the breakfast can only be pre packaged products which have limited quality when compared to the great Italian food out there. Decoration is slightly dated. Towels are not great but work.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It had a little communal courtyard outside each room with tables and chairs for each room. Ours even included a sunbed. The sky and the buildings around were all different earthy colours to peer at from the courtyard. There was an electric awning in case you wished to sit outside in the shade or reduce the heat in your room but there was also very efficient airconditioning. The room is cleaned everyday and it felt really clean and tidy the whole time. it is not overcrowded. It’s really a wonderful place to stay. The location is perfect. We so much preferred staying in Levanto and not in one of the other areas. The beach is sooooo much nicer and cleaner and it’s an awesome hike to Monterosso OR a 6 minute train ride. AND the station is only a stroll away from the room. It’s pretty perfect.
Cons: Ummmm I can’t really think of anything

Pros: Clean, nice, close to everything. Great with a terrace out side.

Pros: Service. Laura at reception was fantastic and an excellent source of knowledge on what to do based on our interest out side of walking the Cinque Terre. Hotel was in a quiet location with a great little balcony to sit and enjoy in the evening. Laura's suggestions for dinners were spot on and provided us a with trip highlight restaurant. We had the need to seek some medical attention for my wife and the staff and owner provided us with assistance above our expectations.

Pros: Friendliness of the staff
Cons: I forgot to ask for WiFi password and later in the night I didn’t have internet...
4.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good. The two ladies on the desk were very helpful. Room was made up almost every day.
Cons: Room was at the back of the hotel against a hill. Almost no light entered the room; dark and depressing. Moldy smell in the room. Stopped using the mini split air conditioner and it went away. Unit needs cleaning and servicing. The checkout clerk, a man, was extremely rude. We were not told at checkin about the city tax that had to be paid in cash. Suddenly, at checkout I was presented with this bill. Since I had just enough cash for our taxis, I disagreed and said it would be paid on credit card. He got extremely loud and abusive. Throwing the tax bill in my face. This person should not be in the "hospitality" business!!!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff that really helped us with any of our queries. The hotel bikes were a great addition as it let us explore some of the near by towns that we wouldn't of otherwise. Very easy to walk down to the beach and all the restaurants. Our room had an amazing view over the town and down to the water
Cons: Queen/Double mattress rather than twin beds pushed together but generally the mattresses stayed together. Having a small espresso maker in the room would be amazing, would of been nice to sit on the balcony enjoying the view while sipping on a coffee, without needing to leave the room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location , staff was great Excellant starting point for culinary and wine tour of cinque terre
Cons: Small elevator,stairs
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There were lots of really nice touches such as welcome drinks while you checked in, bikes available for use, umbrellas available if itw as raining etc. The location was really convenient for the train station and an easy walk into town where there were plenty of good restaurants. It was a quiet and peaceful hotel.
Cons: The rooms were on the small side and the bathroom was clean but a little 'old and tired'.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room, great breakfast and superb location
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was rather average and had not to much to offer... - but the location was excellent. The people at the reception were - without exception - very friendly and kind and helpful - and that is definitely better than a first class breakfast. The hotel is located on a very nice stretch of beach (just across the road) and some good restaurants for dinner are in walking distance - so for that you don't need a car. The rooms are clean and big enough - nothing to complain here....We had a very good stay...
Cons: Just one thing I would suggest to improve.... There is no hook in the bathroom or laundry stand at the balcony for wet beach towels and swim suits...but it is really necessary if you are there in summer....
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great, from location to breakfast and hosts.
Cons: Parking place is around 500 meter from the location of the hotel, but is not a big problem.

The hotel is in the first row near the beach, many restaurants and a small park for relaxation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect hotel, recommend to anyone
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Everything! Madelina and Pietro are great hosts! Ready to help, always smiling, giving very good advise. The room was always clean. The bedsheets and towels clean every 2 days. We stayed a full week. The breakfast is very varied with a lot of homemade cookies and cakes and jams.. Delicious . And, if that was not enough the view from the terrace is fantastic! We recommend! 5 stars!
Cons: If one really had to look for something wrong, and it would be difficult, I will have to say the noise in the morning at breakfast time because we had the room next to the kitchen. But always at very civilised times! Also a suggestion maybe, I would add a mirror in the bedroom. Women!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We had a great stay and both Chiara and Madalina have been such lovely hosts! The breakfast is delicious and offers loads of options, from freshly baked cakes to locally produced cheese, fruits picked from the garden, warm and cold beverages, eggs and more. Pros: We liked a lot about this place. The large superior double room with our own terrace and big bathroom, the fact that the hotel had its own garage with a small elevator to the rooms (a new garage with easier access is being built), the levelled position just outside the city center, the delicious breakfast in the beatiful breakfast room, the nice owner and staff and the fact that we were offered wine glasses when we went to the reception to ask for a cork screw. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very kind and gracious host. Location was great as it was easy to get in and around central Levanto from there. Wonderful older, well kept and maintained home.
Cons: The room we booked was small and tight to get around in, and the host were willing to move us one of the nights we were there but would still have to move back into the same room due to previous booking. I would not let this stop me from staying here again though.
7.1 Good
Pros: The garden
Cons: Room small and a bit expensive for what it offers
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We had a room with a private garden. The apartment itself was a bit old-fashioned, but the most time we spent in the garden - very spacious, with comfortable sun loungers, table, chairs and umbrella - convenient for families with children. The breakfasts was very tasty, the service was kind and helpful. Cosmetics set in the bathroom.
Cons: The apartment lacked a dishcloth and sponge, the air-conditioning worked only in one room. There was also a bad smell in one of closet. These are only slight defects, generally we were very pleased with the apartment.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location was nice (5min walk from the beach although it's an uphill on the way back). our room was really small and uncomfortable; however there are other rooms which are supposedly bigger and with a view and terrace. make sure you ask for those and not room number 1.
Cons: The room we had was very small, we didn't have space for our luggage. the bed was uncomfortable, the mattress should really be changed. the parking was available on property; however you have to leave the car keys with the owner since you will be closing the access to other cars.

6.3 Good
Cons: In the bedroom there weren't hooks and shelves enough for each person furthermore the entire hostel is extremely quite. Levanto is also not kinda funny place... Maybe a little bit music sometime? I also suggest a television into the common room. I travelled by my self a lot and due to my budget, but also for meeting people I often choose the hostel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location for visiting cinque terre, and much more affordable and less crowded then actually staying in one is the 5 villages. Also loved the extra hike from levanto to Monterosso. Rooms were comfortable. Kitchen was basic and small but had everything you needed. Enjoyed the terrace as well.
Cons: The WiFi wasn’t that great. I couldn’t get any service in the room at all. Pretty much needed to stay near the staircase to get a good signal. The breakfast was really late, especially for an area known for the treks. I was out by 7:30 all three mornings so never did have it.

When we arrived early, we were pleasantly suprised to be able to check in and were provided with a pass to park for free at the train station during our stay. Pros: unbelievably great breakfast! We could not eat everything and was so nicely prepared and served.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A nice quiet location of the house between the town and a village by the stream which burbled just under the window of our room. Maybe a bit too far from Levanto city center and the beach to be covering the distance on foot, but our host (and the property owner in one person) provided us with the parking card for free parking in Levanto so it was easy to move around by car. The quiet location, cleanliness and coziness, and a personal friendly approach of the owner made our stay the nicest stay of our whole trip to Italy.
