had a damage room, hole on the ceiling and crack on bathroom basin.
Nice clean hotel with lots of amenities inside our suite twin rooms . Very spacious with a big bath tub
The staff all have problems with time stipulated for turn down services which was supposed to be at 7pm , and yet each time they came at 6pm for our 3 day stay . We do not like it as we were still resting in our room and yet they came . Had to tell them time and time again and yet could not understand the time requested ! Private limousine requested to airport was informed to change from 9am to 8.30am , and yet the person taking down instruction wrote it at 9.30am ! 1 hour later , this could mean missing our flight ! Fortunately , the driver Simon was around to rectify it. Our second day stay there , had technical issues with internet , TV and room phones too. Practically no contact at all for half the day ! Hotel had nice big facility -good hardware , but defective software including man power. Room service food was expensive and very salty and spicy. Don't ever eat in the hotel. Our bill came almost to RM $4000 for the 3 day stay .
Breakfast buffet just an average. The noodles left dried. Chili paste too salty. The presentation was great but the food not so good. Room are not worth paying for. Pillow are not that comfortable for me. We just staying at their standard deluxe room. Overall the bathroom was the liking. Mini bar just coffee and tea. Although it was stated the mini bar is free in our booking. We didnt take it as theres a price by the hotel. I dont want any misunderstanding later on. We are not coming back
Personalised touch by our butler, Zul. Staying in the Regis KL with Zul as our butler made us feel like royalty. Zul also took us around the hotel and describing its history of the hotel and its relation with the original owners, the various art work, and the history and function of each room. Plus it was great being met by your butler at the door, "Good evening Sir, Madam" with a clipped British accent that will make Jeeves proud! (Actually no, Zul did not have a British accent - I was just joking) Truly made our anniversary staycation a memorable one. Also, it is pleasantly surprising how all the staff know your name before you even introduce yourself. Also if you want to avail their SPA services, be sure to book ahead. We were disappointed that we didnt get a slot, then again it was our fault that we didnt book ahead.
It was the darn weather! The haze kept us from enjoying the pool.
The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur located in the heart of KL Sentral, is home to an exquisite private Art Collection.
