Pros (+) Absolutely wonderful hotel right in the heart of the city. Staff was really helpful - always asking about how they can help. Strongly recommend.

Pros (+) Oberoi are very attentive to the small things and making you comfortable. One concierge, Mr. Rahan, was really on the ball for outings and ideas. Staff were courteous and smiling. I used the Spa facilities each evening for the steam room and the ladies were lovely.
Cons (-) On checkout, I didn't appreciate being held for 30 minutes for a 8,600 rupee dinner charge that was not mine ($160) during a time of day when I was heading off for a boat ride and not even in the hotel. The delay caused me to miss the check in time for my flight. I had to book new tickets home that cost $300 to fly via Delhi instead of Direct.
