Cool location, dense trees made the place feel secluded.

The service was only mediocre, and prices reflected a hotel of better well rounded quality. The staff did not speak much English and fell short on our cues which resulted in a lot of extra complications and made things frustrating. Of course I can appreciate that expectations should be adjusted when visiting another country but their price was reflective of other resorts that charged a premium for quality service. Hotel staff were friendly and well intentioned but management should spend more time training them on service and expectations.

It is incredible quaint because of its old school Thai style and a friendly staff.

It’s antiquated, no place to charge, WiFi does not work (so I was forced to use my data the entire 4 days) the power went out twice, not for long but it was night so it was pitch black. The gym was a joke all cardio equipment 15 years old and not working. The steps, (and there are many of them because it is built into a cliff and is tierd down to the beach below.) and stepping stones, walkways are all uneven and very dangerous if you are elderly, out of shape, uncoordinated or clumsy. That is NOT a joke. They are not to code and some steps have as much as 13 inch drops. The sewer stench outside my bathroom (which is partially opened to the outside at all times) was unbearable. The first night of my stay they did not provide me the two twin that we’re offered in the booking and reluctantly gave me a thin mat to sleep on the floor with that smelled of mildew so I was forced d to sleep with my father. You can see under some of the bungalows and they have unsightly old pipes, water heaters, scrap metal etc... just laying on the ground. I was so very unhappy with this place!
