Very good location with an MRT station just down the road. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room met all of my needs. The breakfast is nice and varied, with the classic continental options (the bread isn't great, but that's common in Taiwan) as well as a few more local choices.
Having paid for a deluxe room, I didn't expect to have to buy a towel and therefore didn't take one. I've been to numerous cheaper hotels with lower ratings that provide towels. You can pay for one at the hotel, but I decided to buy my own from the Carrefour down the road. Slightly outdated decor, but nothing too offensive.
Check out time is 11 AM and any extra hour is $200/hr which is a way to increase the room rate. What worse is the front desk did not inform the room service and woke me up at 11 AM. Not pleased.
Room is perfect. Nice view.
Breakfast did not have many dishes. Breakfast is not worth with 4* hotel.
Comfortable bed, clean and quiet room.
No Car Park is not so convenient.
(Ugraded to Executive vs deluxe) Staff, especially Winnie, were amazing. Double glazed windows, sound proof room. Extra width and length bed. Pay the extra and get an Executive room, well worth it
AC vent and wall in deluxe room was so dirty that I started wheezing. Lights weren't working, wall fitting fell off. All deluxe rooms were the same. Was upgraded to Executive. Pay the extra and get executive. New building, extra touches, great value for money.
