Everything. Beautiful room with lovely decor. Everything worked well. Bathroom was especially nice and clean. Truly service oriented. All the food that I ate was very well done. The owner Fifu is a caring and knowledgeable gentleman. Many hotel owners in India could learn lessons on how to run a hotel from this establishment. Couldn't recommend more highly!
Quiet room on second floor; attractive decor; comfortable bed (though tendency to sag in middle); comfortable window seat with view of fort in distance; nice lighting; plenty of storage and hanging space; good wi-fi connectivity; ceiling fan and air conditioner (neither used); small fridge; plenty of hot water at all times and good shower pressure; very attentive and solicitous owner, keen to ensure that his guests enjoy their stay; very pleasant and helpful staff; good continental breakfast served on roof terrace (with excellent view of fort); 20 minute walk to the fort (good exercise!) - auto-rickshaws also available from main road, 5 to 7 minutes' walk from hotel; good value for money for a hotel of this standard (booking online, I paid the equivalent of 38 pounds sterling per night for bed only - breakfast cost an additional 2.70 pounds sterling).
There was nothing I disliked about this property. I would happily stay there again and recommend it warmly.
Great bed. Tastefully decorated room. Warm reception and friendly staff. Always extra bottled water in the rooms. Room cleaned daily with fresh towels if desired. (unlike most Indian hotels we visited. We booked a 1 day Desert Safari tour complete with camel ride to sunset on giant sand dunes. Mr. Abdullah was our trusty camel guy and Mr. Sodha our jeep driver and cook. We had a delicious freshly cooked vegetarian meal prepared on an open fire and then were provided with raised beds to marvel at the incredible dark skies. It was wonderful. (Oh yes, lots of great choices for breakfast and dinner meals at the hotel itself)
No complaints. Every desire was catered to in a very client friendly manner.
Everything was good...!! I really enjoyed my stay.
Cleanliness and good behavior
Super comfortable rooms in a clean guesthouse, but the absolute best part was how incredibly kind and helpful the team is! They went out to get me antibiotics as I was sick, and even dropped me at the fort by motorbike when there were no tuk tuks around. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe and respected.
I thought the restaurant was overpriced — although the service is awesome and the food decent, the quality of food didn’t warrant the pricetag.
