Having an airport shuttle service and being close to IST made this a convienent hotel choice.The aurport has vendors who charge triple the taxi price and deceive you into thinking you are hiring a taxi.

We were denied the stay because we had 2 kids with us and the hotel stated the reservation is for 2 adults only. At the time of booking on Kayak, I selected 2 adults + 2 kids (1 is 3 yrs old and the other one is 9 months old. But when we arrived at Ramada, the reception told us that their system only shows 2 adults and there is no reference to the kids. As such they asked one of the adults to stay in the lobby so that the 2 kids could check into the room. I got this room for the kids anyways because we were connecting through Istanbul and had 9 hrs of layover. So I stayed in the lobby and my wife and the kids went upstairs to the room. We checked out 4 hours later and went back to the airport. All in all, this experience left a very bad impression on me and my family from both Ramada and Kayak for such poor service. I have been a long time costumer of Kayak and expected a much better service. I will leave a negative review on Trip Adviser for this hotel and am requesting a full refund for my reservation + the transportation fee from the airport to this hotel and back to the airport. The shuttle runs every two hours. So you need to know the schedule and where to pick up the bus at the airport otherwise you are out of luck. Getting to the hotel (4 miles) at rush hour took 45 minutes so keep that in mind. There are restaurants nearby but no one spoke English. The hotel restaurant was filled with cigarette smoke.
The rooms were quiet. The breakfast was a complete meal and very good. The location has many restaurants nearby.
The transfers are not on demand or even frequent but every 2 hours on a fixed schedule. We missed or did not see the bus at 6 pm so we had to take a taxi. Even though it is close to the terminal it took 45 minutes t o get to the hotel during Friday evening between 6 and 7 pm. Th hotel restaurant was so smoky you could smell it on yourself all night long.
