Dreamer's B&b Cihangir

The area around is nice, the building itself is also hidden from the main street in a small backyard alley. Upstair rooms are quite nice. The hostel is 7 minutes walk from Taksim square (downhill, but uphill on the way back, so not that convenient if you have a lot of luggage). Price was good - the accommodation is rather cheap and I would say quality matches the price - you simply shouldn't expect too much.

There is a big difference between the rooms on the ground floor and those on the first and second floor. If you book here, insist to get rooms on higher floors, they are MUCH nicer (also only those rooms are on the pictures). Rooms downstairs are not presented on any of the pictures and if we have seen them, we would never choose this place. We got the rooms on ground floor and if I was rating the property based only on those rooms it would be 5/10 tops. But we have seen other rooms and they are way better. My review score 7/10 assumes you get those better rooms. Shared toilets were rather avarage and there is no common space which is a huge disadvante - for example there is no place to eat breakfast, we had to eat it sitting on our beds... The person responsible for the place didn't speak English at all and we had to use phone to call someone speaking English (the owner of the building?)...
