Summary of reviews

Guests say
Most guests praised the hotel's convenient location near shops and restaurants, with several also mentioning the spaciousness of the rooms. However, cleanliness was a recurring issue, with many reviews citing dirty rooms, stained linens, and maintenance problems. Service received mixed feedback, with some guests finding staff friendly and helpful, while others experienced indifference or rudeness. The value for price was seen as fair by some, but others felt it did not match the quality or amenities provided. Overall, while the location and room size were highlights, improvements in cleanliness and service are needed.

Cons (-) No remote in the room but they brought another that didn’t work then changed out the TV to match the remote. There was not hot water for the shower in the morning. The room seemed dirty. The location is good but the rooms are very old and dingy.

Pros (+) Nothing!!!!
Cons (-) After a 3 hour trip we got to the hotel to find out it had been closed by the board of health. No one contacted me, they said they had. The owner argued with me and told me how I was lucky they were willing to send me somewhere else, which was 30 minutes further from my original hotel. I will NEVER go back to that hotel even after the issues are fixed. Their customer service skills suck!!! Stay aw...

Cons (-) I didn't get the room I booked, so was over charged for a tiny room. Place is dated and dirty. Needs major renovation. I will not go back

Pros (+) Jacuzzi in room plus huge shower with multiple shower heads for two.
Cons (-) Booked room and stated included jacuzzi but when check in told not in room so had to upgrade & pay extra.

Pros (+) Not much.
Cons (-) Room was filthy. You could see the grime built up on all the tables in room. All of the wallpaper in room and hallways is falling off. I've been coming here for over 20 years and they have never redecorated at all.

Very good

Pros (+) We loved that we were overwhelmed with the scent of bleach when we opened the three room door, to the point we even had to air out the room by opening the window. This might be a negative to some people but to us it means that we didn't have to clean the tub ourselves to be sure it was clean. Front desk person in the AM was very cheerful and efficient (can't say the same about when we checked in)
Cons (-) Luckily my husband and I could tell the difference between clean and things (such as the mirror in the bathroom and the plug in the tub) needing replacements or updates (but I'm sure it is tackled on the off season.
