Rooms were comfortable enough. Is within about 500-600m of a 24 hour KFC and a McDonald's that closes at 10pm. However, takes a very long time to walk to in winter cause of the slippery ground. There is a bus stop outside KFC to Central street and a train station one stop before Central Street, where you can get an airport shuttle bus for ¥20. Close to a shopping center (400-500m) and an underground supermarket next door with great heat packs, ¥10 for a pack of 10. Winter clothing shop a few doors down. They let me check out earlier than my booked date without charging me extra. The daytime staff were nice.

There are lots of steps to climb to the reception from the street. Is located away from the main Street so a taxi was hard to get. At 3pm in the afternoon, all the taxis that passed me were finishing their shift. I had to get a Didi. I got this hotel because of the location, I thought it was easy to get to the ice sculptures. The address said it is in Daoli, but a local said it actually isn't and at over ¥200 a night without breakfast, I think it is expensive. One of the night staff just watched me struggle to open the heavy door, the floor was slippery and made pulling the door open even harder. He just watched when I asked for help several times. They can't/won't order a taxi for me, but got one for my friend a few days later. Disgusting cigarettes smell in hallway and lift sometimes.

Cheap price in the location I wanted. Rooms warm very friendly staff who were willing to communicate with me as a foreigner and really tried to be helpful.

It was just very basic. I didn’t really expect much more for the price. Beds a bit hard. But I have had harder. I don’t agree with the reviewer who said they are comfortable. But I guess taste differ.
