We stayed two nights as we were sick and needed to recharge. We had a big room with three beds even though there were just two of us. Plenty of blankets on the beds.
When we arrived, the girl working there did not expect us despite us having a booking and had to phone her boss to ask about it. The room we were given was nice but there was soap left from the previous tenants and only a half roll of toilet paper. There were no curtains on one window where the sun shone directly in. They put them up on our second day. The shower was freezing and we had to ask for it to be fixed. It just felt very thrown together. Breakfast was two pieces of bread each with jam and juice and tea. Not really great to be honest. I feel like its a bit overpriced for what you are getting.
Betty was warm and welcoming. She rose at 6:30 am to make us breakfast, then called a taxi for the airport. She made us fresh squeezed juice, coffee and home baked bread.
If you’re staying awhile in Cuzco, it’s a bit far from the center of town for walking, but a quick taxi ride away!
