I stayed there for one week. I loved the location, I felt safe, the staff was very friendly, the daily breakfast was good, and overall it was a great value for the price.
The only thing I didn't like was that it was a little bit cold and it could have been a little bit cleaner.
The breakfast is pretty substantial and they also gave me a bag to take some fruit to go since I had an early flight to catch.
I had a room in the interior of the hotel and I could hear the floors creaking as people walked by, voices of other guests and doors slamming. Luckily I had ear plugs and everyone went to bed at a reasonable hour.
Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean and in excellent location. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and stay again!
The hotel is very central and you can go everywhere by foot. We were allowed to store our luggage for machu picchu there for free. The beds were comfortable and it all was clean and nice. The breakfast was good. Very good fruits.
Travelers, this is Cusco, so not NY or London, you can't be critic for everything. I personally checked 4 rooms of this hotel, anyone you choose could have potentially a disadvantage, those facing the street must be noisy/very noisy (mostly on saturday) those at the back don't have windows or aren't well ventilated, however the hotel is magnificent, the breakfast room is beautiful and the breakfast is very ok -not luxurious- So it's a balance you want to sleep calm, then you choose a room at the back and then you will miss the nice view of the plaza and it's potential noise.
I asked for a late check out and even though I knew that we were the only guests at that moment and that the occupancy was low, they deny it to me (Genius 2 level). I found it very unpolite, the person at the desk even gave me a choice of paying for a late check out.
