Nice, comfortable and warm hotel interior and very comfortable room. Food good but overpriced.
Good spa facilities although found the pool and spa water a little cold and for that reason probably will not return for the spa facilities. Booked a very reasonable 2 night stay with booking.com but very disappointed to hear that guests who had spotted a local newspaper advertisement were staying for a night with dinner and breakfast for approx. a third of the price of what we were paying for our room plus dinner. Raised our disappointment with reception staff on departure but even though I called the hotel directly looking for their best rate/offer for our stay I was advised that it was merely unfortunate but that if we didn't read the newspaper advert...
We really enjoyed the spa facilities and the warm, relaxed & friendly atmosphere around the hotel. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet time away from the hustle & bustle of the city.
The hotel restaurant was disappointing. The meal took far too long to be served & the restaurant was quite cold.
Peace n quiet pool spa etc nice room
Lack of kettle n room
access to cork
heating in room does not work and can not be fixed
The hotel itself was luxurious and classy.
wine 8e per glass 3e per can of coke in the room, menu quite expensive but it was a 5star hotel so i suppose it was always going to be expensive.
