Pros:The parking was easy and the price for the BnB was low relative to other options. The decor and amenities were in line with the price we paid.
Cons:The location. You're a 45 min walk or 10 euro taxi to the central area. We were on the first floor so it was very noisy in the morning with everyone coming down for food.
Pros:The place was as described. It was very clean and comfortable. It was fairly easy to find. The location was nice
Cons:The innkeeper, John, needs a lesson in communication and kindness. He abruptly greeted us and proceeded to scold us immensely. We showed up at 10:30 in the evening. He went on and on about how we should have contacted him and that we were supposed to check in between 2-5. He told us how he waited all day and that we really inconvenienced him. It was so uncomfortable. I actually lost sleep over the matter. I felt so badly. It was ridiculous. Despite the fact that I apologized several times he never apologized for his bad behavior. It was so not acceptable. I never read anywhere that we had to check in at a certain time. I went back and looked that evening. It is a lodge and if 10:30 is too late to check in I think that perhaps he is in the wrong business.
