No Beach & cold pool and jacuzzi Pros: Very friendly staff Cons: Didn't liked it it was in the beach and the pool and Jacuzzi was cold
Rude receptionist and poor serviceCons: The receptionist was rude and rushed through
The process. Refused to hear customer's concerns
It was the coldest week in Florida and heat was
Not working. Called the front desk and no one came
To help. I had cold and light fever and It was miserable to sleep in a cold room.
THIS IS A PARTY HOTELPros: Clean rooms, friendly staff, great location, private manmade beach, complimentary valetCons: Music played until midnight and was very loud in your room, manmade beach was very small, expensive to use their equipment
Great hotel for night lifePros: Location and amenities are great! Valet was also great and they were friendly and fastCons: Being placed in the room directly above the club. I requested a higher floor to be away from the club and its noise until 3am
Pros: The new renovations and the friendly staffCons: That the only way to park your car was through valet
Pros: The pool area was niceCons: The rave music went from early afternoon to very early morning. The rooms also were not spectacular for the price paid. There was no ventilation in the bathroom either, which made smells linger in the bathroom. Overall I would not come back.
First time in ClwarwaterPros: Really enjoyed the overall hotel. Beach is small but nice. Pool is very enjoyable. Lots of bars that included specials. Hotel room was very clean. Hotel made our stay easy and fun. Cons: We did find ants in our bathroom but didn't see it as a big deal, simply took care of it ourselves.
Just ok. Pros: The staff were very friendly. Cons: The hotel smelled like salt water, which, I realize is most likely due to its close proximity, however other places I've stayed did not have that issue. This place is solidly just ok. Not great, but not terrible. A younger, less pampered traveler probably would have been thrilled by the accommodations.
Pros: The rooms were very spacious and clean. The view from our balcony was if the beach and the club beneath us. The pool was very clean. On Sunday's they reserve it for hotel guests only......as far as the night club, they play a lot of techno but on Sundays they changed it up. Ohhh I almost forgot about the cheap drink specials. You cannot beat a 2 dollar drink. The resort was awesome all in all. You never need to leave the premises. But if you don't like loudness at night in your room from the music, ask to not stay on the same side as the club.Cons: Although there were no reserve seats at the pool. People did it.
Diamond in the roughPros: Several bars, a nightclub, and a stage with live music and a dance floor all in one resort. It also has a pool, hot tub, and a small private beach. Also walking distance to several restaurants and shops. Cons: I wish I could have stayed longer (not really a negative comment about the resort, just wish I had a lower vacation)
Pros: Loved the showers!! We stayed in fort Myers at a condo, then due to bad weather we decided to head to Clearwater. Best decision ever! Took the key west express for a couple days and came right back to shepards! We will definitely be back!Cons: The elevates were slow... Took forever to get on one depending on the time of day. We mostly used the stairs.
Fun with friendsPros: Music was outstanding! The staff was extremely friendly! Beautiful view!Cons: Beach chairs should be free as a guest.
