Great breakfast and excellent service by attentive, friendly staff.
When we arrived late on the 1st night after 10pm exhausted from a very long international flight, we found ourselves in a one bedroom unit which was not what was booked.I requested a sleeper bed for my son. Next morning we were transferred to another room type with ocean and pool views-awesome!! Small problem though, could only accommodate us in this unit type for 2 days, then moved twice subsequently over our 10 day stay. Staff were amazing though, throughout our ordeals including no power (daily load shedding in Cape Town for 2 hours at a time) which was totally frustrating when you are on vacation. Attention to detail is lacking though at this fine establishment!
This hotel has the perfect location, it is classy and modern, the rooms are beautifully decorated and the facilities are amazing. I will definitely recommend and stay here again for sure. it was busy with a mix of nationalities and the sundowners bar is really popular and gorgeous all day !
Great stay with extremely helpful and friendly staff!
Location of this hotel is good and the breakfast very tasty as well. It is noticeable that this hotel is quite old, but it is renovated quite ok.
First of all, we had to wait for 45 minutes to get into our room. After we finally got into our room, the room smelled terribly and this did not change during our stay. Smelled like the cleaning lady was using 1 floor-cloth for all 300-something rooms. Next to this, it turned out that the sink in the bathroom was not flowing. In summary; I had to ask for three times before the plumber finally came to check our room. Furthermore, I was suffering from food poisoning and the receptionist told us to send some water to the room, but no water came. I think the reception staff is one of the worst I have ever experienced so far. Definitely won't ever visit this hotel again.
The breakfast selection was excelkent
