Cozy rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast, Liesl was a great host, she gave us good advises for our trip. And even went above and beyond to help me get my stuff back (that I left in the room) by sending it to my home in Germany!!
Coffee machine, and a kettle in the room, with normal coffee as well. Bed big and comfortable. A lot of cupboard space in our room. The staff were friendly and tried to assist when we requested this.
The water pressure in the bathroom is very low. If this is to save water they are achieving the opposite as you have to spend triple the amount of time to shower as the water pressure is so poor. Breakfast was very basic so we had to go out and purchase so many extras to have an adequate breakfast. During our stay we had a faulty fridge, that was freezing our food, and drinks, (even on the lowest setting) the fridge was changed only on the 8th day, while I reported this on the 2nd day. Bathroom sliding door kept falling off the rail. The rail shield fell on the 2nd day, on the way to the floor it hit me on the hand. It was fixed on the 5th day. Reported on the morning of the 2nd day. Towels: we were 3 adults, and only 1 bath towel was supplied. We had to keep asking for more big towels. All floors are wood, and when walking on them a squeaking noise kept disturbing the sleeping people. No bottle of still water supplied. (The minimum 2 × 500ml a day) Parking not great as there was not enough space on the premises to accommodate all cars if the guest house was relatively busy.
The breakfast was good, even though the coffee ran out and the person taking the breakfast order took a long time to ask what we wanted. (We'd filled up on cereal by that time!)
The shower leaked into the bedroom (a lot!) We mentioned this, but it wasn't fixed during our stay. I know the building is old, but many things (plugs, bathroom, table in room) seemed very rough-shod, as if they were just put in place temporarily. The people supervising breakfast didn't check to see when coffee needed refilling or when people needed to get food.
I love the place is very good and peaceful and neat, Liesl she was very good to us, she organized everything for us, transport, tour guide, we will book there always, everything was perfect.i can recommend this place as small heaven.
everything was good, breakfast everything good service
