10.0 Excellent
Pros: The trip was excellent also due to the owners of the hotel. Juan helped us with everything that we needed (he gave us a sun umbrella and inflatable mattresses for the beach), a lot of info about what we can visit etc. Totally recommed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, stuff, location, food, cleaning services, bed was the best. 10/10
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Right from the welcome we received on our arrival everything about our stay at Hotel Creta was superb. It was spotlessly clean, no wonder as the room was cleaned every single day, beds made and towels changed. The hotel manager even lent us 2 beach towels free of charge. On that note the lovely air conditioning in the room was free of charge and very welcome as each day was 35 degrees or more! Even the safe in the room came at no charge. The room was very nicely decorated with a balcony with 2 chairs and a table (the door and windows to the balcony were double glazed which kept out any noise from the street). The beds were very comfortable with memory foam mattresses. The TV in the room was a 32" flat screen Samsung which I could hook up my laptop to with a HDMI cable so we were able to watch Netflix on a bigger screen. The WiFi was free and plenty strong enough to run Netflix. The location of the hotel is second to none with the beach being only 3 minutes walk (our room had a fantastic sea view which we were not expecting) and the hotel is surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars plus the hotels own restaurant and bar called Hawaii. The hotel and its restaurant are family owned and run and you can definitely tell that it is, attention to detail is in everything they do and you can feel they are very passionate about it. We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 days at the hotel and cannot recommend it enough.
Cons: We liked everything!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very clean. It is one of those hotels that makes you feel very comfortable because it is simple and family run.
Cons: On booking.com, it is mentioned that there is parking but there is NOT specific parking to the hotel. The city offers a few free parking sports around the hotel but it is not guaranteed. The owner of the hotel provides a very useful map to find those spots
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable room. Hosts were very accommodating.
Cons: Inclusive breakfast should include English Breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: staff were friendly and helpful. Everything is near by. Bus stop and beach are few meters away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We never had breakfast, the location could not be any better,15 mtrs to the beach 10 mtrs to the bus stop and ATM machine.Good sea view to the left and view of the mountain to your right.Despite being in a very central location this lovely hotel was still very quiet and restful due to good double glazed balcony doors, but if you love people watching and the buzz sounds of the street, just open them sit on you balcony and enjoy. This is a small family run hotel run by 2 brothers who are extremely helpful and very friendly, dont expect all the trappings of the big hotels such as swimming pools and games rooms, there are none, but if you want a lovely spotlessly clean room with a few nice little touches, then we can highly recommend this lovely place.great place to stay if your on your own too
Cons: Whats to dislike,i would seriously have to nit pick.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully clean family run hotel. The staff are extremely welcoming and can’t do enough for you. Excellent location. Would definitely recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely first class family run boutique hotel. Designed and decorated to a high degree and kept in pristine condition. There is a small restaurant and bar attached that is also of the same calibre as the hotel. It’s situated on the main boulevard just a short walk from the beach and it really is central to all you could need. We highly recommend this establishment and it’s staff if you want a trouble free holiday!
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff of the hotel and restaurant was simply awesome. Lovely family run business and excellent approach to customers. From check-in to check-out, everything was just splendid. Lovely room with sea view. Beach is just 30 meters from the hotel door. Balcony with chairs and table, comfortable bed, bathroom size just enough, fast wi-fi and home-made breakfast. Personal welcome by the hotel owner in the morning. Always helpful and smiling personel all the time. Room was cleaned every day. No problem with later afternoon check-out. Definitelly recomended, I will be coming back.
Cons: Sometimes slightly noisy from the back street.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location and the ambience
Cons: The room was never replenished with milk or tea bags and so we constantly had to call to ask. Food was very overpriced and very average. My burger came with oven chips! We had a quiet out of the way location which was awesome but we could hear our neighbors thumping around the room. I imagine the main hotel is very noisy
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff were excellent and the facilities luxurious
Cons: Pool service could have been better for the quality of hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love the place and will be back, soon.
Cons: Fitness facilities are very small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely outstanding. I cannot say enough about the facilities as well as the staff. They went out of there way to make us feel as relaxed as possible. The staff knew us by name on the first day and catered to our every desire. What and incredible place to decompress and enjoy the finer things. There is nothing like waking up to the sun rising over the Majorcan countryside. Once again if you looking for a true 5 star experience look no further.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Bathroom floor very slippy so take care
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Castell Son Claret is heaven on earth! Stunning building in a beautiful location with such attention to detail. The gardens, the pool, spa - everything is so well kept. The service was superb making each individual feel special - staying here is so much more than a hotel, it is an experience! One that I will reccomend to anyone visiting Mallorca and I will definitely revisit again.
Cons: I couldn't fault a thing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff upgraded us to a demi-suite which was stunning!
Cons: Only negative was our room had a strange smell from the air con towards the end of each day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hotel with friendly efficient helpful staff. Excellent restaurants with good service. Lovely comfortable rooms
Cons: Absolutely nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Atmosphere and nature. Hospitality
Cons: If you looking sea and beaches, I think it is not that place) 2 restaurants: Zaranda (2 Michelin Stars), and Olivera (Michelin Guide). We've had dinner in Olivera: unreasonably expensive (local wine ±56 euro)) with normal price ±25, glass of cava ±16-18 euro, etc.) very mediocre cuisine.. Breakfast so-so. It have to be batter for this price!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property in a lovely location in nature with stunning grounds.
Cons: As we had a child age 6 we could only use the spa between 8.30 and 10.00am which I could understand, however they would not turn the steam room on as there was a guest having a 'Hammam' at 12 which I felt was unfair, did not take into account our needs and did not make sense. There was no info booklet in our rooms. The telephones did not work so we had to walk to reception if we wanted anything.

Pros: The experience was fabulous I would highly recommend anyone to stay here it was the perfect break
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Cons: It is quite pricey - service was slow at times - not attentive with replenishing drinks quickly
6.3 Good
Pros: Very clean and comfortable. I’m sure it gets its 5 star rating based on size of rooms and amenities. We had a lovely view from our room. We were greeted with a nice bottle of Viuve Cliquot.
Cons: For the price we paid for the Stargazers Room ($1,000+ per night), we were nonplussed. Service was sporadic. Service charges were higher than at most resorts. The high tech features were difficult to navigate and inefficient at best. The pool was not strategically located to offer a view of the Mediterranean, which should be the draw for this hotel, since it is right on the water, but quite a ways from Palma. The staff at the pool were inconvenienced when we asked them to put two lounges together for us. They never asked us if we wanted a drink or something to eat. Not cleaning after room service, we moved the dirty trays outside where they sat for over 24 hours after repeated calls. In summary, this resort needs some work with staff about the lack of service and should think carefully about all of the extra resort charges that are added to the bill (which don’t deliver).

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place with a distinguished character for those who appreciate authentic style and wants to escape the busier parts of Mallorca.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The house is extremely beautiful Picturesque grounds Very helpful and nice hosts Tasty breakfasts Quiet, countryside neighbourhood (if you need calmness) not far from busy seaside (if you need facilities, restaurants and shops)
Cons: The single room is tiny, the bed is child-sized No heating in the bathroom making it very cold in the morning and humid for long after bath e.g. towels do not dry out
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hosts Christiane and Norbert were very welcoming. Their breakfast is top quality with fresh ingredients, large variety of foods from cheeses and meats to bircher muesli, fresh fruit, croissants and home made bread and jams. You can also order for free anything you want such as eggs any style, sausages, pancakes. Try their veggie omelette - it's incredible! You can also use tea-coffee machine any time of the day at the dining room - which I really enjoyed doing. The house is recently renovated, but was built in 16th (or 17th) century. The furniture is unique and antique, rooms are spacious and comfy, even body lotion is very good. I was really happy to spend 2 nights in this Finca just laying by the lovely pool and enjoying the sun and roosters and crickets sounds. You can also request to have some antipasti for dinner if you don't fancy driving out. You'll be served some warm bread, cheese, olives and ham (see photo). And you can take cava, wine, beer, lemonade or ice-cream from the fridge and pay when checking out.
Cons: The only drawback I'd say is location - it's about 25 min walk in a deserted area to the central road and nearest cafe/shop. If you have a car - that's not a big deal. But if you travel by taxi - then it's quite a faraway place from either a beach or entertainment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, very clean and extremely welcoming owners
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The building, the views, the hosts, the ambience
Cons: The coffee! The pillows.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming look and feel in tranquil area. Best location to roam the island.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The finca was a convenient location for exploring Palma and the western part of the island. Being out in the country was a relaxing break from the bustle of Palma and the beach resort areas. The breakfast was delicious, with eggs and sausage or bacon available upon request. The balcony was a nice place to relax in the evening, drinking wine while enjoying the starry sky.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent with good choice and very attentive service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The welcome from Christina and Norbert was so personal and individual. The house has been restored with such love and attention to detail. Everywhere has been maintained and cleaned to the highest standards. The pool area is spacious and relaxing; so calming and peaceful. Norbert's cooked breakfasts are fantastic

5.8 Okay
Pros: The Spa and pool
Cons: The first time I booked the hotel was for me and a friend who lives in Spain. This was the 20th and the 21st of June. We were told no deals so two nights stay was 580 pounds for two nights . When we arrived the lady at the desk must have had a bad morning because it showed on her face . Wasn't friendly at all booked us in gave us a key and that was that . The guy at the end of the desk we asked how do we get to our room and he gave directions . We got into our room wasn't bad but not worth 290 a night . Anyway we had a nice afternoon around the pool had lunch by the pool staff there lovely . Paid cash for our meals and drink just over 100 euros and enjoyed it . We booked treatments in the spa for the next day for both of us 540 euros but worth every penny. Treatment lovely and staff so helpful and lovely . We booked an eveing meal at the restaurant 3 waiters serving the tables . Had a meal and when it came to pudding my friend asked the waiter about the pudding he recommend one pudding and my friend can not have chocolate he said it dosent come with chocolate well when it came it did have chocolate. The waiter said oh don't worry we will scrap it off my friend said but you can't scrap it all of can you he no but it will be alright . It's like saying to someone with peanut allergie oh don't worry it's only a little peanut on it . My friend said sorry but I can't eat it . The waiter wasn't please that she would have it . My friend said could she have something else . When the second pudding came crambule it was part frozen. So when I asked for the bill it came to 95 euros I paid cash put it inside the book and he took it away and never came back with the 5 euros. I could have said something but thought we won't eat here again . The next day we had our treatment which was lovely and spent the afternoon round the pool . We decided to eat in the bar round the pool that evening and had a great time .
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent geographical situation, very quiet, in a beautiful site. Spacious and very well arranged room. In a cosy decor, very pleasant atmosphere. Not at the seaside but the hotel offers at anytime shuttles to the beach as well as to the Bendinat golf course. Very good wifi connection, both inside and outside. Very nice hotel staff.
Cons: Cleanliness: the service could be a little more efficient, in general. Do not clean the tables properly, especially at breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super hotel, great location, perfect service. Really nice breakfast and nice restaurant at the hotel.
7.1 Good
Pros: The quality of customers.
Cons: The new style of renovation.

Pros: The room (the Palma suite) was amazing, lovely interior and a beautiful view from the terrace overlooking the mountains. Pool area was great, (we were often the only ones there) and the hotel in general is just a beautiful space. Breakfast was really good, simple but with carefully selected products. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel. Nice rooms. Nice pools and beach. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They upgraded our room for our honeymoon, which we were very thankful for. Beautiful property in amazing location.
Cons: Older clientele. I was here on my honeymoon, I’m early 30s. We were the youngest couple by 30 years. Caters to older English retirees. Food was mediocre. Breakfast was good. But I’d suggest eating out for other meals. Otherwise, great property.
7.9 Good
Pros: Lot’s of facilities. Nice staff. Good location.
Cons: No value for money (we paid 300+ a night in September, very high rate for an outdated hotel. Needs extensive refurbishment or prices have to adapt). Smelly carpet in the room(this is frankly unacceptable).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at and a warm welcome from the owner Martin. My daughter (10) and I had been travelling to a few different European cities before arriving here and even stayed in the Riu Bonanza playa across the road for 4 nights before our final 3 nights here. This was the highlight of our two week holiday and everything was perfect. Room gorgeous (we were upgraded to a suite), setting is beautiful and doesn’t feel crowded and the food was lovely. Plan to return and hopefully stay longer next time
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Amazing place! Our small paradise :) Room was beautiful decorated in an elegant style matching to the whole object and the environment. We had large bathroom and small fridge in our room. There was cleaned every day. Brilliant swimming pool outside and nice viewes. Free parking. Delicious breakfasts. Owner was very gentlemanly and nice. The description of the place agrees with reality in 100%, but on arrival you are still surprised by the beauty of this place!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Beautiful, old house, well looked after. The staff really went the extra mile to accommodate all our needs. We have asked for vegan breakfast and they made an extra effort to buy alternative options on top of the amazing daily freah fruit and vegetables, etc. Some other guests had other needs and they were all looked after very well and were provided gluten free options, etc.
Cons: Our bed in the studio was a little too firm for our liking but still a great and comfortable, food size bed :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, quiet, amazing scenery, lovely pool, good breakfast - cannot complain about anything at the property
Cons: You do need a car as not much choice of restaurants in Calvià but we did not mind this at all
7.9 Good
Pros: Son Malero is a beautiful old Finca with a splendid pool area totally fit for staying full days relaxing there. As it is an old place with original furniture don't expect that everything is shiny. But this adds to the authentic feel. The owner couple is very attentive and caring (prepared baby food for us each day) and the vers good breakfast on the porch was the perfect start into the day.
Cons: It is really far off and Calvia has basically one overpriced restaurant and a bar. As we had no car and a room with no kitchen this was rather problematic for us. Bring moskito spray!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Owner was very friendly and welcoming. Lovely healthy breakfast. Rooms were spacious and clean with plenty of privacy. Location just outside Calvia was idyllic and only a short taxi journey to the beach areas. I would highly recommend for any couple travelling.
Cons: Nothing really.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fridge that wasn't a mini-bar like most other similar Finca type B&Bs.
Cons: Limited restaurant options within walking distance of property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A peaceful countryside retreat, only 15 minutes drive to the coast. Helpful hosts provided crockery so we could picnic in the garden. Spotlessly clean. Beautifully appointed room. Excellent swimming pool for cooling off after a day out. Breakfast was delicious, with fine views from the terrace. We loved it!
Cons: AC could have been a little more efficient, but it was a minor issue as the place is so beautiful!
7.1 Good
Pros: Quiet Attractive building Nice continental breakfast Room and towels changed every day
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was really comfortable, clean & well decorated. The breakfast was excellent with a beautiful eating area. The owner was brilliant, very friendly & really helpful with great recommendations of restaurants which he booked for us. The gardens area were lovely and the pool area peaceful. A nice walk into town for food in the evenings.

Pros: We had let the hotel know we were on our honeymoon prior to arriving, so when we got there they upgraded us to a Presidential Suite - it was amazing! The views are spectacular and the option of swimming in the pools or sea is great. Definitely check out AquaZumba at 11am. T
Cons: The food in the buffet isn't that great. Also be aware that there is a music concert every night at the pool from about 9-11pm. It's very loud so you can't get over your jet lag until after the performance. Lots of kids in the big pool, so take advantage of the adults only pool.
7.0 Good
Pros: Beautiful swimming pool right on the sea. Direct access to sea was fantastic. Gorgeous spacious rooms with bathrobes/ slippers. Staff were very friendly.
Cons: I give honest reviews on here I don't need to be coaxed into giving 10/10. No sun in the whole resort after 6pm never stayed anywhere where you couldn't get sun at pool, beach anywhere in Iletas in the evening so for that reason I would not return. We stayed in 2 hotels previous to this a 5* and a 4* with better breakfast, spa facilities and €3.50 for a glass of wine as is the average price in Majorca here they charge €7.50 .. outrageous! Cheap nasty toiletries in the room quite shocking for a hotel of such luxury. Breakfast was nothing to look forward to it not a great selection, it was hectic and the coffee was bad. No sun ever on our balcony. Now if we had stayed here first and not have compared it to the previous hotels we may have enjoyed it more but I would liked to have seen more honest reviews on here I hope this review might help you decide I wish I had chosen elsewhere but everyone is different you might like it.

Pros: Just one word: AMAZING! Place, staff and location awesome! Dream place for a dream's holiday!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is fantastic, close to Palma but away from the crowds, bus #3 stops next to the hotel, leaving every 10 min. Very nice pool area, with loads of space and plenty of lounge chairs, easy access to the sea, so you can swim both in the pool and in the salt water. Nice gym, decent spa area. Amazing food quality and varietyFabulous, will definitely come back!, with themes changing every day.
7.0 Good
Pros: Sea view from the poolside.
Cons: The room was given a cursory tidy only. Staff just ok. As a fluent Spanish speaker it was irritating to have staff answering back in English. Absent guests hogging sun beds. Over busy restaurant.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stunning hotel and setting. Staff were amazing. Breakfasts were great.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The amazing staff great quality food cleanliness of room views
Cons: A very tiny gripe tea/coffee making in room would make it perfect
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. They are really trying to make your stay comfortable. Very good breakfast. Nice view from the window. Good WiFi in all areas of the hotel. Before our arrival I asked to bring flowers and Cava to our room, everything was done as expected.
Cons: No beach at the hotel, and not near by. Though you may access the sea from the stairs. No late check out. But these are few minor things that did not spoil our vacation:)
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The managers (not the normal staff) are super friendly and gave us free dinner as compensation for the bad views from "Seaview room". Nice pool & spa facilities.
Cons: The Seaview room is TOTALLY different from what we saw on website, so please be careful when trying to book a Seaview room. You can check the photo in my review, half of the view is blocked by the roof of a conference centre and trees. Any staff other than managers are super busy and not really helpful, all they did was to push back and try to end the conversation ASAP instead of being helpful and trying to understand the problems. Bed sheet is not clean, my legs had at least 5 lumps after just one night probably because of bugs. Again the staff just said they will check and wanna end the conversation ASAP.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just perfect. The bed was very comfy and the shower was great. The sea view from the balcony is hard to beat. The meals, both breakfast and dinner (we had half board), were excellent with a lot of variety, even though I’m a vegetarian which is not so easy in Spain. The pool area is fantastic with lots of sun beds to choose from, great views of the sea, and plenty of food and drink. There is also a good gym. Best of all, the staff is all very friendly and helpful. A special mention for Fernando who does the aqua gym and other activities and is so funny and friendly. Overall we had a wonderful time.
Cons: The coffee at breakfast. But there was an espresso machine as well, so we didn’t have to go without caffeine! And the WiFi was a bit intermittent, sometimes very fast and sometimes not working at all, independent of where you were.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We are very satisfy with hotel services and cleaning. Thank you.

Pros: OMG I knew this place would be lovely I wanted to visit for years when I first saw it but it just blew me away it is the perfect hotel the hotel dreams are made of I felt like Alison in Wonderland it is just magical with all the funky decor and vintage furniture and the positive pictures everywhere to make you read things like Live Life and think positively! The breakfast was without doubt the best hotel breakfast it was just amazing full of love with special touches like fresh ginger to cut and mint leaves to pick for your water! Huge balconies and such a comfy bed. The pool was stunning as was the garden and the smell of flowers and lavender and the big Buddha and swing and all the little features!! I love it I will definitely come back and bring himself! You will love it here just book it now!!
Cons: I asked for a bottle of wine to take to my room one night and was told it was not possible the bar closed at 10pm I was very disappointed and had to go to a bar down the road who gave me a bottle of wine and a wine glass which was lovely but I aired by disappointment to him next day I was quite annoyed as I was a woman on my own and having to leave that night and look for wine .. he was very sorry and offered me a bottle of wine as an apology but I refused. I think he learned from this and it won't happen again so although disappointed by this experience it would not put me off returning again as I love the place, thank you for everything.

Pros: Friendly staff, lovely & very clean hotel! Best breakfast!
Cons: Maybe a kettle in the room for a quick cup of coffee in when one wakes up.

Pros: Really beautifully done hotel. Quirky and so imaginative. A real gem in Paguera. Very reasonably priced bar in a fabulous setting. Breakfast was delicious with loads of choice. Our room had a balcony which was wonderful to sit out on.
Cons: No restaurant for evening food although the bar menu is available all day. Really minor detail and loads of restaurants very close by.

Pros: Quirky, fun, clean hotel. Excellent pool and garden, lovely staff. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve ever had.
Cons: Peguera is a good base for visiting the rest of the island but the surrounding restaurants and bars are average, we didn’t find anything special. However, the hotel was perfect.

Pros: Lots of arty objects around hotel. A very nice family room and single Breakfast layout in amazing. Staff are friendly, welcoming and responded promptly to emails prior to visit. Cons: Absolutely nothing this is fabulous quirky hotel.

Cons: Left belonging at hotel, returned immediately and stayed a long time only to be informed they hadn't found it. Contacted later after i left halfway to the other side of palma that they had indeed found it. Wasted half a day(my last day in sunny mallorca) on hot buses. They weren't even polite enough to refund my travel back to the hotel. Don't stay here. Staff are thieves.

Pros: The service is second to none. The hotel butler Sabine greeted us on arrival and made sure everything was taken care of. From hotel reservations to packing and unpacking our bags. Food at the hotel is also of a very high level, even if it’s just a club sandwich. The outdoor area is fantastic and spacious with a beautiful garden area next to the pools. The hotel is also in close reach of Port Portals with a vast choice of restaurants and bars. It’s not cheap but you get what you pay for, and it’s worth it!

Pros: The property is beautiful but everything is loud with screaming kids. No complimentary water when you can’t drink the tap.
Cons: Some of the staff is incredible. The food is overpriced and not good at all. I can’t believe this hotel is charging the amount they are. I was treated horrible after getting stranded at a different party of the island and offering to pay for the car service. Not to mention, I am paying over 1K a night. I’ve never experienced anything like this and can’t believe this qualifies as a st.regis resort.

Pros: Beautiful grounds, very spacious so even when the hotel was full it didn't feel crowded Excellent outside terraces to enjoy a glass of cava looking out across the bay. Staff who catered for your every need from booking restaurants to advice on where to go

Overview Reviews
THE HOTELHospes Maricel and Spa is made up of two buildings: the original 29-room “Maricel Palace” and the new 22-room “Natura building,” which includes the impressive Bodyna Spa & Wellness center. Once a grand residence, and later a hotspot for the old-school jet set, the hotel is impressive for its views of the Mediterranean, historical beauty, and modern style.ARCHITECTURE & DESIGNComprised of a converted 16th-century mansion and a beautifully designed new building across the road, connected via an underground walkway, Hospes Maricel & Spa is a unique mix of neoclassical and avant-garde architecture. The new building is constructed in the typical Mallorca stone wall style while the old building's revamp has returned traditional Balearic elements such as archways, arcades, and pillars in marble, stone and sandstone from nearby Santanyí. The interiors are decidedly contemporary allowing the Mediterranean views to take center stage.

Pros: Our second visit and will not be the last! The hotel is beautiful but the staff are what makes this hotel really special - the level of service is exceptional.
Cons: The pool food - some more light offerings would be welcome.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Phenomenal hotel and facilities, and the stay really exceeded our expectations. We were a family of 6 and stayed for 2 nights at Maricel, all 3 rooms in the modern building across the street. Prior to the trip I was nervous about not staying in the main building, but we were blown away with how beautiful the rooms were in the modern building (despite not having the same ocean views as the main building), and how easy it was it get to the main building and pool (literally 2 min stroll). The property itself is impeccable, and the infinity pool overlooking is ocean was perfect. There's a platform to easily enter the water, and we even swam to lunch one day to small restaurant at a local beach around the corner. Lastly, the staff was so attentive and kind. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and special, and everyone was extremely attentive in the lobby, restaurants, and pool area. They treated our parents to champagne to celebrate their wedding anniversary, and even went above and beyond to help us find restaurants and bars to meet our needs. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Pros: It’s such a wonderful city getaway trip by staying here. The location is good, near the beach but we stayed in hotel poolside almost all the time. The pool side has a direct connection with the sea. Food and drinks are nice. One thing I would like to add is, the hotel staffs are soooo good! They are friendly, helpful and always sweet( say yes to all my family’s difficult questions!) thank you guys for make us stay so comfortably and we will definitely come back again!
Cons: Nothing Everything is over my expectation.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: My wife and I together with another couple just spent eight nights at this hotel. It is one of these properties which is frustratingly close to being a really great hotel but sadly misses the mark in a few areas. The property itself is a mixture of dated and modern. The hotel is well appointed as one should expect for a ‘Leading Hotel of the World’. The hotel offers a discounted breakfast package to guests staying several days. This offers great value as the breakfast buffet is very extensive. There is nothing nicer in good weather than breakfast, lunch or dinner on the terrace. We ate lunch and dinner in the Arrels Restaurant which was pleasant. The hotel is well positioned outside Palma with easy access by bus, taxi or car. We enjoyed our stay and will return.
Cons: Our room had an usual layout to enable the large double bed to face out towards the sea. Try as one may to arrange one’s bedside table or other parts of one’s room as one preferred by setting out an alarm clock, a torch, a personal radio or other personal effects, the turn down service irritatingly re-sets the room to their mandated layout and one’s alarm clock, torch and personal radio are all pushed to one side on the bedside table to make way instead for a bright red Clarins brochure giving details of Spa treatments and the TV control unit. Can someone explain to me why hotels re-organise clients personal effects especially for clients staying for several nights? Can’t they just accept that clients might find using the TV control unit less useful than a torch or an alarm clock in the dark during the night. One of the most irritating things at the Grand Melia de Mar in Illetas was their permitting and encouraging smoking outside on balconies. I say encouraging, because every balcony was equipped with an ash tray and Melia branded matches! If you are not a smoker, you are likely to be inhaling the fumes from neighbouring balconies when stepping outside, which is most unpleasant. The same was the case outside on the terrace whilst enjoying breakfast - where the person at the next table was puffing toxic fumes over neighbouring guests! As we now know that smoking causes cancer, the Melia Group should urgently re-consider this policy. The bathrooms are well equipped with double, yes double showers (?!) and ours also had an extremely deep bath tub and a plug which didn’t seal. So every bath required multiple re-fills and even when asked to repair this, it remained deficient. There were also twin wash basins. Again can someone explain why a bathroom with two showers, two wash basins and a bath comes with a single bar of soap and only one bath mat? Even though each morning we requested a second bath mat, the turndown service would unhelpfully remove one!
4.2 Okay
Pros: Staff, sea view, outdoor facilities
Cons: First room: insect and Ants (i guess a whole colony) Second room : also Ants In general a overpriced middle-Class hotel which is not good maintained. Especially the hotel itself and the room in the 3rd and 4th Floor. Sorry guys will not come again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, lovey location
7.9 Good
Pros: Great Location! close to center and easy to reach every main points of the island. Staff is really amazing, always friendly and happy, communicating in very polite manner, ready to help and support if necessary. Nice and cosy small Cala at the hotel. Good and clean housekeeping. Spa by Clarins was really amazing, especially massage we had, definitely worth every penny.
Cons: Pool service was not that good, you had to wait quite a lot of time for someone to come and take an order. One of the members of the staff at the reception was bit unqualified. Me and my wife booked Kayak excursion for one day through that person at the reception. Everything was messed up as it appeared on the next day: Meeting point, Boat type, trip duration.. etc.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Awesome peaceful place with great views & ocean access...
Cons: Nothing! All perfect!
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location for us. Lovely place to relax.
Cons: On arrival my room was dirty and not made up. No one showed me to my rooms. Dirty condiments. Bad organisation at check in.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location, the view, the pool, the restaurants, the service, the modern room amenities.
Cons: We had a questionable experience at check-in: We were immediately invited to update our room (without having even seen it) at an additional cost of 100 Euros/day. The upgrade included a higher floor, access to a suite for snacks and drinks, a day bed by the pool, and access to the spa. We asked to see it, and it was nice (although the design of the patio blocked a magnificent view of the coastline). Then we asked to see the room we were supposed to get, and it was the worst room in the hotel: on the bottom floor, a blocked ocean view, and the patio overlooked the parking lot. We could help but feel that it was a bait and switch situation. We asked for another room, and they begrudgingly found a twin room instead of the king we requested. Only after we considered leaving and moving to another hotel did they find a perfectly fine room, just like the one we requested (magically!). While we felt we were being duped, that feeling went away after a couple of hours of enjoying the beauty and service of the resort.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and very helpful staff. Nothing seemed too much trouble.
Cons: N/A
4.6 Okay
Cons: Service level below average and definitely not worth 5 stars in a global comparison.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were amazing. Balcony was lovely. Location is great.
Cons: Drinks and food were overpriced.

Pros: The hotel has a fabulous location with the restaurant overlooking the sea. The staff were very helpful and charming with nothing too much trouble despite being very busy. Our room was a simple double but with a good terrace and lovely sea view. It is an easy trip from the UK
Cons: The restaurant served lovely food but it was the same menu for lunch and dinner every day - staying there for a week meant there wasn't much variety. The hotel is in a residential area and the local town doesn't have a great deal of interest to offer.

Pros: We stayed for 4 nights B&B with family. The Hotel is very modern , lovely and comfortable with good selection of quality food at breakfast .The coffee taste at breakfast from bar bean machines was different every day, possibly different coffee beans, but we liked it anyway. Staff was always helpful and pleasant. Rooms were clean ,fresh and just great! Room Sea View and hotel location is perfect .
Cons: Sometimes the water in the sea opposite the hotel had a smell for some reason , so we had to go other side of the Beach to fully enjoy the sea swim.

Pros: Very nice hotel! Not far from the centre of Palma. Breakfast is absolutely delicious: a lot of different food and fruits, cava during the weekend and an amazing view! Illeatas beach is in a 5 minute-way from the hotel as well as some rest Charming hotel not far from the center of Palma. Great breakfasts with a variety of food, fruits, all kinds of sausages and cheeses for everyone taste with an amazing panoramic view! On weekends you could enjoy your breakfast with a glass of iced kava. Ilitas beach is in a 5-minute walk away and next to it you can find authentic restaurants with both Mediterranean and European food. The hotel itself is located in a bay with clear emerald green water. However, the hotel hardly suits for families with children due to lack of fences, but for all other tourists it is a great choice for a reasonable price.

Pros: The hotel is very well managed and staffed. Everyone is very friendly and efficient.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location in proximity to the sea was great.
Cons: The check in staff was very sweet the two women were very helpful. However the checkout day an older gentleman was very rude and not helpful at all. Also the pool and bar closed at 18:00. Which I thought was weird.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect, right on a secluded beach and easy access to the sea. Breakfast was fantastic and the restaurantr staff were very professional, polite and extremelly friendly. The view from our balcony was to absolutely amazing, one of the best sun rises I've ever seen.
Cons: Air com could have been straonger, the room got a bit hot during the night.
6.2 Good
Pros: I loved the view from the pool and from our hotel room. The breakfast buffet was amazing
Cons: They would charge 2,80 Euro for renting a beach towel, the room is quite outdated. The hair dryer is very old school. When you shower, there is no curtain or door to block the water to come out of the bath tub where half the bathroom floor is all wet by the time you are done showering.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Disgusting toilet brush.

7.5 Good
Pros: They were very attentive and kind.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was set on a pretty cove with beautiful sea views. Our room was well decorated, with a very comfortable bed and a modern shower room. All good. The air conditioning was very useful and the balcony had table and chairs and a glass facade which allowed watching the sea easily. The pool was adequate and the sea wall had easy access for swimming. Breakfast was great with a good selection to choose from. Staff were very polite and helpful, and sorted out a minor problem with a light switch very quickly.
Cons: There were only a couple of free parking spaces outside the hotel, otherwise it was metered paying. Nowhere to really walk except along streets around the hotel. Not very pretty.
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel is designed well and very clean. The staff were very friendly. It’s in a lovely, quiet location on the coast, next to some coves for swimming. All the guests were over 35, mostly 45+, which makes it perfect if you want to sunbathe, relax, swim, read and decompress. If you want to do more, you can take a bus (stops outside) or a taxi.
Cons: Room - The mattresses were uncomfortable. The beds were also fitted with urine proof bedsheets so if felt like sleeping on a waxed tarp, at times. The toilet’s glass swing-door with frosted letters on it didn’t offer a lot of privacy. Food - few, if any, vegetarian options. Only one small, cooked veggie option was available at dinner on one evening when we were there. One or two good cooked options a day would make all the difference. A common comment from other guests was that they need to vary the food more, in general. The desserts, and most of the food on offer, was the same every day/night. Swimming - Please warn the guests about dangers when swimming. We, and many other swimmers, were bitten by Sargo fish when we went wading and swimming in the coves, which drew blood in my case. It was a huge problem in Mallorca some years back but it’s still a problem. When we got out we saw a lot of jellyfish drifting into the cove. Some guests were stung badly. A single, easily to miss, A4 sheet warning people went up after one guest was stung all over. This isn’t enough.

Pros: Charming environment with a great view, close to nice restaurants.

Pros: There is literally nothing not to like about this property it is such a high standard I can’t believe it’s only 4*. The rooms are beautifully appointed we were in the exclusive area and had fee access to the Balinese beds which were superb quiet peaceful and calm with a lovely Jacuzzi and massage. I would highly recommend this hotel we have stayed in five star properties in Palma and not had as good experience as we have had here
Cons: Nothing at all

6.3 Good
Pros: Near a beautiful bay. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Having to pay to pay for beach towels. Having to ask to have my room cleaned. Trying to find an empty sunbed. No water in the room. Asked for iron and board which weren’t fit for purpose!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was superb with plenty of choice for everyone. The hotel was only about a 25min drive from the airport, and is situated in a quiet area hence making the holiday very relaxing. The beach is just perfect,a small sandy cove, just minutes down the road from the hotel. We found all the staff to be very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: fabulous hotel would definitely stay here again.
2.9 Mediocre
Cons: I have never been to a hotel where you have to pay for pool towels or pay for an iron. There are no full length mirrors in the rooms. Also no water provided in the room. Intrinsically this is a very poor quality hotel that’s been given a facelift. The courtesy room if your room isn’t ready is dirty, tired and not fit for purpose.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect and the breakfast amazing
