Helpful staff, handy location near Talaat Harb square, nice continental breakfast, clean bathroom. Some rooms contain furnishings and floors that are a bit worn while others have been renovated, and all are quite clean. AC issues were addressed immediately by the staff. A good value for the money. I would stay here again.
Stuff at reception desk is excellent!!! I was really suprise how silent room I got.
The cast is friendly and cooperable.. The area is central and near to the museums and services
For health problem i need 2 billow for sleep there is only one billow for the bed..there is estimated .. task.about 25 percent over the predetermined price..
The hostel is very centrally located. 10min walk from the Nile and the Egyptian Museum. Don't go by the look of the old dilapidated building. That's how almost all the buildings look. The hostel inside is comfortable and the staff is really nice and caring. From the first communication itself, Mohamed who manages the hostel was extremely prompt and detailed with information. A very pleasant and hospitable man, he organised a 4-day budget-friendly tour for me from Cairo, including the Nile Cruise. I had a great time on the tour. There were a couple of hiccups (nothing he was responsible for), but Mohamed stayed in touch with me throughout the tour and ensured my comfort and convenience. He made sure to arrange alternatives for any issue I faced. Mohamed organises other tours as well, including the tour of the Pyramids, which I did. Apart from its fabulous ancient history and tourism, Egypt can be a challenging country, considering language, infrastructure, aggressive touts and hustlers at every step. But knowing someone like Mohamed is very reassuring and you can have your holiday in peace. He gives you proper information and coordinates everything. I kept bothering him with questions on WhatsApp but he patiently answered everything. I took the single non-sharing room, which was really huge and comfortable. The dorms looked really well maintained too.
The breakfast is very basic. Could have been slightly better than two pieces of day-old flatbreads, one fried egg, butter and jam, but I realise that is standard in Egypt.
Really nice hostel with nice vibes. All the personnel was nice and helpful. They helped me arrange my tours and visits for a reasonable price, especially Abdullah whom I became friends with. Really clean, organized and good location. I totally recommend Miami Cairo!
