Location is good. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff
In my (large) room, beds had very soft mattresses. There was no phone. Furniture was minimal. The bathroom was very small.
The breakfast was great and a nice light environment in the dining room
Every member of staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was fairly spacious, and the bathroom was exceptionally spacious. Self-service breakfast offers a good choice. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the European Parliament Building, and within walking distance (20-25 minutes) of Grand' Place and old Brussels. Several bus routes pass the hotel for easy access to the centre.
The shower was spacious, but with a fixed panel separating it from the bathroom, and not extending the length of the shower, a lot of water spilled on to the bathroom floor. Coffee in the bar was expensive, at 4 euros for a modest-sized cup. The scrambled egg in the breakfast room was clearly processed, out of a catering pack, not made with fresh eggs.
we had rooms on 6th floor they were excellent
This hotel is ideal for a weekend in Brussels since it is conveniently located and offers good accommodation at a decent price. I particularly liked the freshly-squeezed orange juice served for breakfast.
When I booked a room, I was not aware that the day of departure would be a "no-car day" in Brussels. In a nutshell, no cars could circulate within the ring between 9:30 AM and 7 PM, impacting the district where the hotel is located as well. Since I could only stay in Brussels until early afternoon, I asked the receptionist to help me develop a plan to continue enjoying the city for a few more hours. I appreciate that this was not a tourist office but I was expecting constructive tips and not an invite to check the city website for more information...!
