Spa is nice, hotel is basic
Wellness is extraordinary, especially sauna rituals and outdoor cold lake. Massages are great too. Mr. Tomas Konecny was a real professional plus superkind on a human level. Staff is kind and patient, especially Adam and Katarinka at the reception. Housekeeping staff is wonderful, rooms superclean.
Beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable, at least in rooms we stayed in ( we stayed 4 nights in 2 different rooms of different categories ). I understand that some guests might prefer extremely hard mattress, but if you are not one of them, you might have a problem as they do not provide mattress toppers on request ( which would be nice - at least for rooms of higher standard ). Their interior design is not warm, more on a blue/grey sad side, art on walls depresive too, no fault in that, as it is of course a matter of personal preference. Unless they change beds/ mattresses or will offer mattress toppers, I will return to their wonderful wellnes, but not to the hotel:(
It’s not the first time that we stay at Maximus and every time it’s a great, relaxing weekend. The facilities are great, our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was rich.
Since we went on the Valentine’s weekend, the hotel and the wellness was really crowded but it’s our own fault choosing such time.
The Spa facility is gorgeous!
It was very disorganized, no plan really to store things securely and lacked sanitation in Wellness Center. Lacked professionalism and beds were not at all comfortable...woke up with a sore back as result. Things were quite expensive for what you got with entertainment part and extra charges.
