Reception staff all friendly and professional. The room was beautiful, bed comfy and the bathroom was very modern and clean. Breakfast buffet was great and delicious! A lovely relaxing stay in a lovely hotel.
When I checked in, the receptionist forgot to ask if I wanted to put some credit on my room. Later, when I ordered room service i was expected to go down to the bar to pay for it which defeated the whole purpose of room service! I didn’t want to move from my room! Also - I couldn’t find an iron or ironing board in my room which, for the type of room I paid and cost, I would’ve expected there to be one in the room already. Could’ve done with more power in the water from the shower head. Was surprised to be told at breakfast that when I requested a cappuccino it would be an extra cost. Most hotel breakfast buffets provide coffee machines that allow you to choose what coffee you require. Instead, I got a very small pot of quite weak coffee.
The entrance, bar and room where lovely. Fun and freshly decorated. Bed was comfortable. It was a good location. On the seafront but just a little away from all the noisy busy parts which was great Drinks in bar where a good price.
The rooms where extremely hot. It was uncomfortable and sweaty. Hot to sleep in and would benefit from air con or at least a fan. On check-out I was told I could have asked for one. It was extremely hot having and shower and left sweating after getting dried, like changing in a swimming pool! Would benefit from extractor fan.
The staff were totally professional and accommodating.
The property was quirky, modern and rooms were lovely and large.
The main reception rooms great in drcor. Bright cheery colored.
Size of bedroom and view onto side wall only 1 meter away. Heat in rooms - only a fan for storing warm air The breakfast device slow and buffet selection poor
Room was fabulous, bed was comfy. Good location beside the sea. Within walking distance to the Pier & other Brighton sights.
Not enough staff on for breakfast to cater for the number of people
