Good location, clean and very helpful staff
The friendliness of the staff.
Excellent location, tucked away inside the alleys between via Oberdan and via Independenzia, just around the corner from Bologna’s best kept secret ‘the finestrella di canale’ on Via Piella. We loved this hotel, pity we only stayed for one night, next time we will make sure to stay for more. Halfway between the train station and the city centre it will make the perfect city base. The rooms are surprisingly spacious - we had one on the third floor and it featured a skylight which entertained us no end. So nice to see the stars at night as we lay in bed, it was like camping in luxurious conditions. You can also open the window to cool down as it is electronically controlled, lovely to hear the church bells ring the hours in the morning. The shower cubicle in the bathroom is a bit of a challenge and I can understand the other reviews mentioning the squeeze for ample sized guests. The lovely and friendly staff more than make up for this niggle, wow, they were so welcoming and genuinely caring. Breakfast is served on the ground floor, it’s only continental and quite basic but enough to get you going for the day (and so does the friendly smiles of the staff as they bring your coffee!).
Nothing at all. This is a lovely little hotel with great staff and good rooms.
I stayed the one of their apartments over the road from the hotel. The decor is a little dated and the bathroom small but other than that the facilities were excellent, great location and friendly and super-helpful staff.
Decor was a little dated...but it doesn’t really matter!
The breakfast buffet offered a good variety. The cappuccino was perfect. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They offer a very friendly and personalized service. Piazza Maggiore and other sights were steps away. We suggest dinner in Via Delle Vecchie Pescherie and lunch at the Mercato di Mezzo. Bologna is a food city and really fun to explore.
I have no complaints!
