The most comfy bed ever, even tried to find out the make but couldnt find a label.
The bed was ok, but very little else
The hotel is run down, poorly maintained, poorly managed. It needs a complete renovation and is not anywhere close to what a Crowne Plaza should be (I have stayed in several in various countries). This is the worst Crowne Plaza I have seen.
More than happy at check in, very helpful as they let me check in early after a long journey from Ireland
Think it would be useful to have a cash machine or offer cash back at the bar
bed was sooo comfy
Flying visit only one night. Very good
The Crowne Plaza Birmingham City Centre, built in 1974, can be a solid choice for travelers who are coming to the area for business or for pleasure. The hotel has an excellent location that means some attractions are within walking distance and others will be just a short drive away. This is a large, modern property that offers quality amenities and services to the guests. English, Chinese, Portuguese, Russian, and Hungarian are spoken at the property.
Guests can choose from 312 rooms at the property. The rooms have free wired and wireless Internet, safes, air conditioning, coffee and tea facilities, daily housekeeping, a phone, a desk, a private bathroom, and a pillow menu. Connecting rooms are available for those who need them, and rollaway beds can be added for a surcharge.
Buffet breakfasts are available for a surcharge from 6:30 am to 10 am on weekdays and from 7 am to 11:30 am on the weekend. The property has an on-site restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, a business center, meeting rooms, conference space, and coffee and tea in the common areas. Dry cleaning and laundry service is available, as well.
Those who are staying at the Crowne Plaza Birmingham City Centre will be within walking distance of Victoria Square, as well as Birmingham Museums & Art Gallery. Places to play golf are only a short distance away, too. Some of the places in the area to dine include The Gateway to India, Café Rouge, The Smoke Haus, and Gourmet Burger Kitchen.
