The staff were very friendly and always eager to help and facilitate our stay. They went out of their way booking taxis when they were needed, providing us with maps and directions. Nothing seemed too much of a problem.
There didn't appear to be a breakfast service or a coffee machine that took card, in the heat it would have been nice to have had access to tap water for those who arrived early. The shower pressure in the room was excellent which had an unexpected downside in that the bathroom often flooded in what is essentially a wet room without a drain. Furthermore a bin in the bedroom would have been handy as we stayed a couple of days and packets and general rubbish naturally accumulated. There were also no tea or coffee making facilities in the room although that may just be an English thing.
Brilliant to have secure parking underneath and staff really friendly and helpful.
Location: very close to the Guggenheim museum.
No breakfast possible, very basic, price
Staff was very friendly and helpful. It is one of the cheaper places in Bilbao (which is quite expensive). The neighbourhood is much less touristy and more authentic than other places.
I hardly slept in this room. It was very hot inside. The hotel is next to a busy highway. So you have a choice: either close the windows and sleep like a Bilbaoan estofado or open the windows and let the lorries sing you to sleep.
Not a bad location - quite close to the Guggenheim but no restaurants nearby. However there is a tube station quite close and it is only 2 stops to the old town. The room was comfortable enough and lacked for nothing important. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient
The plumbing was very noisy. The building entry was up a steep slope, not an issue for the fit and healthy but older, frailer people may struggle - and there is no internal lift. Somewhere more local for breakfast would have been nice
