Very limited food options at Breakfast, the room door was not opening, had to try 10 times at each attempt. Bathroom tiles were broken, very little water pressure in the bath tub.

After being a loyal patron to this hotel chain group, this is the far worst treatment I have got meted out. The metro city’s goldfinch hotel was the worse I had the stay. Mangalore’s branch is still far better than this. I had made the booking through booking.com platform and specifically chose twin bed club room. Even after selection and booking confirmation. The hotel did not call me for changes in my booking because to my utter surprise when I checked in to the property, the choice I made online isn’t available and the hotel doesn’t comply with the policy of booking.com and cannot abide by online booking. Was forced to take queen bed room and rest of rooms are sold out. And the room’s air conditioning is faulty and upon complaint, the hotel has the audacity to say we cannot cool the room and this is only we can do in a very careless sarcastic tone, the housekeeping people. The horror! The manager doesn’t even offer apologies for the inconvenience caused. They boast they are a four star property. My foot! They charge 5000 inr after tax for a night stay and is this what one expect? The only good thing about my stay here is the breakfast food. They were edible and satisfying. My father and I were very disappointed with the experience we had at this property. We were here in this city on business. I will never visit this property unless they apologize whole heartedly and improve the property amenities and check that gung-ho attitude at the door.
