On request double room On arrival was no available
Objectively the room was okay for the price, but in context of the experience and location it was all very poor.
The reception desk was rude and aggressive when we checked in. They insisted we paid again despite paying on the booking website or leave the property. The person who served us was aggressive and rude, and consistently raised his voice at us saying we weren’t listening - we ended up paying twice which then had to be refunded when booking stepped in. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. The hotel and area do not feel safe and the attitude of the hotel desk made us feel uncomfortable throughout our time at the hotel.
Good value for cheap price, communication to the city is very easy all the main places is just 1 stop by metro.
There was cigarette smell in the room, could be a little bit cleaner. Definitely hotel needs investments.
The Elite Hotel is quite basic but my room was clean and adequate. It's decent value at 26 euros and very handy for most of central Athens. I've stayed there 2 or 3 times when passing through Athens and probably will again. It's fine for a night or two; if you are planning a longer stay I would suggest staying somewhere cosier or more luxurious.
No real complaints. The area is very shabby like most of central Athens, in fact it looks dangerous but as far as I know it isn't - I've walked through those streets at night many times and never been attacked.
Simple and basic but the price is excellent. Everyone was polite and friendly, allowed me to check in early which was greatly appreciated.
Shower was a little challenging, hand held shower head so water gets everywhere
