Pros:The building didn't burn down
Cons:When we locked the door from the inside, the lock refused to unlock. No big deal; we'd just call someone from the hotel come and unlock the door. But the phone didn't work. Oh, and there's no internet in the rooms either. There's an emergency button on the wall, but it also didn't work. We were completely trapped in our room because everything was broken. I had to bang on the door until one of the cleaning staff finally heard me and opened the door. After this experience, we were left in the same room. We made sure not to lock the door from the inside anymore. Somehow it locked itself though, and we had to go through the same experience again. This time however, the key wouldn't work from the outside and the door had to be broken into. We lost hours of our morning. When I asked the man at the desk to make some kind of restitution, the best he could do was to knock about 4 euro off the price of the room. Thanks, but no thanks. If you read this review, you might just brush off our experience as a freak incident and want to book the room anyway because the hotel is so cheap. However, this incident is indicative of how poorly the hotel is maintained. When we finally were given another room, the light bulb was burned out, the television didn't work, and the shower head was gushing water in all directions in a shower missing a curtain.
