Pros (+) The location is good, and the staff were friendly... but...
Cons (-) They were totally inconsistent in their COVID protections including mask wearing. When I made the comment that I wondered why they ask travelers to wear masks when they don't wear them themselves, one super employee decided to yell at me.

Pros (+) I loved that the Alex was across the street from lake hood and close to eateries! Very clean... and the price was right! Breakfast included... nice touch.
Cons (-) It’s dated. I couldn’t get the thermostat to work! My room was really hot, making it uncomfortable for me to sleep... I was literally sweating!

Pros (+) Big tub and plenty of towels. Very dated though.
Cons (-) Very old, outdated carpet etc. Lots of people outside and didnt feel very safe. In the morning was okay and saw families but most definitely has a seedy vibe. Elevator was very dirty. Nice front desk staff in the morning.
