Pros:The location is good, and the staff were friendly... but...
Cons:They were totally inconsistent in their COVID protections including mask wearing. When I made the comment that I wondered why they ask travelers to wear masks when they don't wear them themselves, one super employee decided to yell at me.
Pros:Nice bed huge room
Cons:Nothing really. Older hotel in need of some minor maintenance and upgrades but for transiting in Anchorage it's just fine

Pros:I loved that the Alex was across the street from lake hood and close to eateries! Very clean... and the price was right! Breakfast included... nice touch.
Cons:It’s dated. I couldn’t get the thermostat to work! My room was really hot, making it uncomfortable for me to sleep... I was literally sweating!
Pros:Big tub and plenty of towels. Very dated though.
Cons:Very old, outdated carpet etc. Lots of people outside and didnt feel very safe. In the morning was okay and saw families but most definitely has a seedy vibe. Elevator was very dirty. Nice front desk staff in the morning.
Pros:This place is close to the airport, and cheaper than the chains. I stay here six or so times a year for that reason.
Cons:Breakfast is uninspired.
Pros:I use this hotel when I have an overnight in Anchorage. It does the trick. Much better under the new management.
Cons:Breakfast us so-so. No gym.
Pros:Price!
Cons:It had bad smell, shower tub was disgusting, saw a mouse in my room, it just not a place I'd recommend!
