The hotel was clean and the staff were unbelievably helpful and friendly. One of the rooms was totally unacceptable and they moved us the next day. I cannot fault the staff. The location is perfect.
We were travelling as a hen party and at the time of booking I was not told that we would potentially be split up. One of our rooms was in one hotel and two in the other one across the road. I don't think I would have booked if I had known this. The stairs in the hotel are awful. We unfortunately had an accident which involved an ambulance. Double room in the main hotel is so bad we asked to be moved.
The location is amazing. Close to almost every sightseeing spots in Amsterdam. The triple room was very confortable.
Since it’s located in the old area of Amsterdam the buildings don’t have elevators and the stairs are quite odd. Thankfully we stayed in the first floor. The bathroom is weird. The shower and the toilet don’t have any separation, so everything gets wet during a shower. Other then this, it’s pretty comfy.
Staff were helpful and pleasant.
Very small rooms even in the “large” rooms, not many facilities, very dark rooms, one small window in room, location not very great 25 minute walk to most coffee shops and also very noisy hanging most of the nights.
Great location and good deal for breakfast.
had a broken toilet seat in our room.
Didn't eat breakfast-loved the staff people we encountered-Vivian and Stephen.
The steep stairs, but that can't be avoided in Amsterdam, I think
