Good location, near the city
Location was the only thing good about the place.
Part of the staff wasn't friendly. Some days we didn't even had toilet paper. They put extra beds in the spaces between the bunk beds, there was no space to move.
Not bad
Great location.
The shower temperature was hit or miss. The weekend I stayed happened to be a holiday weekend and the prices were ridiculous for sharing a room with 7 strangers.
Dirty and loud
Staff was very friendly and the location is good to be able to walk to a lot of site seeing.
The sheets were disgustingly dirty. The shower was dirty and not just the darn I missed a spot dirty. And you will not get any sleep!! From the street noise, which is to be expected, to the noise of anyone walking around. We were on the first floor and the noise from people going up the stairs to walking down the hall to the next floor makes you think the walls are made out of paper. The bed was so hard you could just as well slept on the floor. Spend the extra 40 bucks and get a nice hotel!
The location in Amsterdam
The security , possibility to escape during a fire
A location. It is very close to the city center.
I missed a miror in the bathroom, no cups, no spoon, no soap. No parking is available at the hotel, however, info on the website is different
Location wise, it is very strategic, near the central station and amenities and finding food is easy
We were given the fifth floor. The worse is to climb the step ladder with our heavy bags upstairs
leaving
all of it, room was nothing like the picture on the website, was too small for a triple room, noise all night, no view outside the window was evidence of drug use and just filth in general.
that no one talk 2u till u dont talk 2 hium first
that at a web i reserved 3 beds in 6-beds room, in fact it was 8-beds in room.. there was no problem with that, but u know..
value for money, very central location.
very steep stairs, stuggled to get suitcases up there. found out that our bathroom wasnt attached to our room, so had to nip in and out of room for bathroom, not very private. cleanliness ok. walls are like paper, can hear everything. reception staff not very helpful. also random smoke alarms going off in the middle of the night due to stoners smoking in the rooms! very annoying.
The helpfulness of reception, regular room cleaning and towel changes, excellent price and value.very very entral makes life much easier
the stairs!
There is not much to like about it except the location
We had to beg for towels every day and, before changing rooms, there was only extremely Hot water from all taps, including flushing the toilet!!!???
I attended the EuroITV 2007 conference in the WCW.
A lot of stairs, but that was ok to me. The personnel was nice, but a bit impatient and not always helpful. They were in particular not good at explaining ways and locations, e.g. where to get breakfast (it was a different hotel) or how to get to a specific location.
That it was very close to the railway station. Easy to find. Very comfortable beds.
We had a room facing the very noisy Damrak street. A suggestion is to install a better isolated door to the reception and a threshold so that the noise from the reception cannot be heard so clearly in the room. We had the quad room and one of us claimed she did not sleep a wink. I did, however!
