The room is agreable, large and cozy. Frank is a sympathic person, it's nice to have a chat with him during breakfast. The location inside Jordaan is great. We really enjoyed our stay.
It’s our second time staying there. We enjoyed staying there because Frank is the best, the room is clean and big, you get good breakfast, and it’s in the good jordaan area in a fabulous street close to cafes, markets and good restaurants. For conclusion , good value for the money!!! Recommended
Frank was extremely friendly, and gave us good advise on what to do in the area.
There wasnt anything I didnt like.
This is a lovely place to stay in the most atmospheric and trendy part of Amsterdam. Frank is a lovely host who makes you feel relaxed and very welcome. Our room was enormous, very well appointed and even had its own little courtyard garden to sit out in. Breakfast is taken in the communal kitchen (there is only one other room rented out in the property) and a nice range of continental breakfast items - cereals, fruit, yoghurts, eggs, cheeses, meats, bread, juice, etc - was provided. The Jordaan is full of gorgeous houses, great cafes, bars and restaurants and a wide range of eclectic shops. It's about a 15-minute walk from the Centraal station and very close indeed to Prinsengracht, where the Anne Frank House is located. We highly recommend eating at 'Hummus D & A' restaurant on Westerstraat, about a 3-minute walk from the bed and breakfast. Great Israeli (though not Kosher) food at reasonable (for Amsterdam, which has become very expensive since our last visit) prices.
The weather let us down!
Frank was fantastic, available if needed but we were gone most of the day and pretty self sufficient. The kitchen was stocked with snacks, breakfast food if needed. The beds were very comfortable and the location was prime. I would stay here again. Thanks Frank and Andre :)
