One young woman at the front desk was excellent. AC was very loud below 77 and the bed was okay. The room I had on my previous visit was perfect.

I liked that the hotel provided free parking and free breakfast. The location is somewhat of an issue because the entrance is next to an on-ramp to an expressway. It was also some tricky when arriving and finding the entrance during the afternoon peak traffic congestion.

Pros (+) I like the consistency of Hampton. This was on target. Staff were disinterested and distracted, not friendly at all. '
Cons (-) Staff were disinterested and distracted, not friendly at all. Breakfast was probably the worst I have ever had at a Hampton Inn. Also, if you are going to have TV blasting while patrons are eating breakfast, the news seems more interesting than an old repeat of a football game.

Called again upon arrival and was told that he picked someone else up and would come back for us. Pros (+) The shuttle service to both old town and the metro was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and the fitness center was adequate. I will definitely stay here again to visit both old town and DC.
Cons (-) The only annoyance was the tv in the room. The interface was extremely slow and difficult to use. A minor problem but a definite annoyance.
