The location actually seems the best in the village for those who prefer spending time in the beach or in the cafes or bars. The shops are also just five steps to go and it takes about only 10 minutes to get to the nearest bus station. It's a quiet place what matches those who travel with the children, though located on the street.
From my opinion, there are no bad points to mention.

The location was perfect, the rooms were comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. The beach, shops, and restaurants are all within walking distance. Excellent dive center just around the corner. Heraklio is just a short bus ride away. Good wifi by the pool; computers in the lobby. Overall great place to relax and meet people, and it's very reasonably priced. The atmosphere makes you feel at home.
They're a bit understaffed so if you need something you might have to ask, but someone is always quick to respond.

Friendly and helpful staff, spacy appartment. 5 euro extra is charged if you want to use the clim.
We arrived a bit late for breakfast, and there was not much left.

Location to beach, also location to all other cities on the island.
Staff was not helpful and made you feel like you were inconveniencing them. There were spiderwebs and bugs in our bathroom, and we did not feel 100% secure.
