Exactly as expected. The loo is away from the cottage- not a problem - but if raining a bit trying. But neat, tidy fine.
It was secluded Away from the main house beautiful scenery, and privacy and I would love to go back again!!!
We enjoyed the lovely old home setting & the dining ware and decor. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great, excellent pressure and plenty of hot water. Enjoyed the outlook and the peace and quiet of the location, which was also very convenient distance-wise in relation to the town centre. We were grateful to have been left to our own devices, and for the freedom to check out at our leisure. Thank you so much.
An electric blanket and winter bed linen would have been nice, also an extra blanket on the first night. We found the heatpump a bit tricky to get going. We used the couple of tea bags up the first night and were expecting them to have been topped up for the second night but had to provide our own. Some dish washing gear would've been useful too. We didnt find allof the art peices particularly tasteful or tastefully displayed - a bit of an over kill in the two room apartment as ut made it very "busy".
I was not offered breakfast
I liked the black out curtains in the cabin.
Having stayed before & enjoyed, I was very disappointed to find ourselves in a cabin where I had to walk outside for the bathroom and any access to water. Very different from being inside. There is no information that this is the situation for the cabin. I could do this at a camp ground. Also the bathroom is no where near the standard of the ensuite we had previously used.
