The room was clean and comfortable, although may be due for some refurbishment. The bar food was excellent and the staff were helpful. It was fairly good value for money as all Jersey hotels seems pricy.
Spoilt by being on roadside side. Noisy and no air conditioning. Food excellent
We found this was a good hotel run by efficient, helpful staff. It was clean and well furnished and decorated. We especially enjoyed the meals in the bar which were plentiful and good, this was a pleasant environment and the bar staff were friendly and helpful. My husband had to compliment the chef on the best Yorkshire puddings he had EVER had!! Our room was clean and well cared for, again the staff were lovely.
We were down to breakfast in reasonable time on the first morning (around 8.30) and were disappointed with the full English which was dry and overcooked and the toast was floppy and not cooked enough. Apart from that the choice was good.
The location near the Park the terrace from our sitting room although the suite was dated
Nothing to dislike but the whole stairwell and bedroom needs upgrading
Rooms too hot as usual!
The Best Western Royal Hotel is the perfect choice for a place to stay near St. Helier. One of the principal hotels in the capital and centrally located on a large site, this fine hotel in Jersey gives you the chance to sample the island’s finest hospitality as well as its many attractions. The hotel is within a five to 10 minute walk of the central shopping area, and less than a mile away from the beach and harbor, so you'll be perfectly placed to get out and about without having to venture too far. The Jersey hotel itself is a characterful property that has been trading as a hotel since 1849. Our comfortable lounge bar is well worth a visit. Whether you want to relax over a cappuccino with colleagues or meet your friends over a beer, we'll serve you with an AA Rosette-winning smile in this welcoming hotel near St. Helier. A great place to stay while you're out of office, the Best Western Royal Hotel has everything the discerning business traveler might need, including one of the largest conference venues in Jersey. The island is a fantastic destination for families too, with excellent, immaculate beaches within a 10-20-minute drive and attractions that are just as easy to reach. But be warned - they're hard to leave too. If you're a surfer, the Atlantic waves at St. Ouen’s Beach are not to be missed, while walks along the cliffs to unspoiled bays and fishing in St. Aubin’s Bay offer a more laid-back way to enjoy the coast.
