7.0 Good
Pros: The facilities and excellent location could not be better.
Cons: The only thing I could complain about was the food but I understand it because most guests were families with young children. 1 other restaurant just outside the hotel was great as not much to choose from in the small village.
7.9 Good
Pros: Anyway, there were positive moments too. The spot is very nice, good view, tasty food in the restaurant. The girl who makes omelettes is very kind. And there is a waiter, don't remember his name, bit he is such an attentive guy. He will serve you the best way possible. You'll understand when he takes you order=)
Cons: Room is Soviet style, empty minibar. Receptionist was trying to write my credit card data (number, year, cvc2 code) on some paper, "for guarantee" she said. Also on check out they were trying to charge me for last dinner, but I've paid in cash in the restaurant. So strange place, you have to be careful there. Restaurant there is a special story. You can't sit where you want, coz the tables are reserved whole the time, even if it's not you can't sit near window (for example) because the waitress Eliska doesn't want to clean those table after you and it's for tomorrow breakfast. The behavior of those waitress (Eliska) looks like she doesn't give a *hit. I've never seen such an unpleasant person.

The room was spacious and clean Many breakfast options, good dinner. The staff was friendly and helpful ( one evening after dinner we forgot a bag with some stuff on the terrace and found it at the reception next morning) It was a good experience staying here, it's a good starting point if you want to ride the Grossglockner

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, awesome bar right next to the property, squash court, pool, sauna, and the area is full of places to see. Would love to come back!
7.5 Good
Pros: Restaurant: Buffet for breakfast and dinner were varied and everything was fresh and delicious Staff at the check in was really helpful and nice. I could dry my clothes for free. Bar with charm and personality
Cons: Price was a bit too expensive. A Whirlpool would make the Wellness area perfect. The hotel is a bit like a labyrinth, I got lost a couple of times, but not an issue. The PC at the bar didnt work. Lots of kids.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The view is breathtaking! The town is a cute little walk with gorgeous scenery. Super close to Alpine Road entrance and you get a discount. Breakfast included is decent. Pets stay for minimal extra.
Cons: Dinner is a little pricey. And we had to pay extra for water at a buffet!
7.5 Good
Pros: The restaurant serves food at the buffet. Plenty of choice and good tasting. Also very elaborate breakfast. The rooms itself are good. Overall friendly staff.
Cons: Restaurant closes at 21:00, after which you cannot pay by card. We were not informed by staff and were expected to pay with cash, which we didn’t have. After some back and forth it was suddenly possible to pay by card. If staff would have informed us about this policy, we would have paid beforehand. Also the bathroom wasn’t the cleanest.
6.3 Good
Pros: Good breakfast, eggs cooked to order or omelettes
Cons: Only buffet dinner available, which looked as if it had been there for the couple of hour since service started. Walked into town for food, it's not far but a bit steep if that bothers you. parking garage was available 100m behind hotel.but could do with a serious clean, I was on motorcycle & footing was very slippery.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast and good coffee. Highly recommend booking the dinner at the time of booking. It was really great, the best dinner throughout our 10 days stay at different hotels, considering the price.
Cons: Wifi is not always accessible from the room.

Pros: Great location, right near a supermarket and a small bar, a short walk up a (Steep) hill brings you to a small town with a couple of bars and restaurants & shops. Not a lot of English spoken upon check in, but not really an issue for us. We (4 adults) rented the 3 bedroom apartment just for one night as part of a motorbike tour through Europe, (one bedroom used for luggage storage which was perfect). The apartment was lovely with great views from the long flower basket covered balcony, it had a large bathroom and extra toilet. Everything you needed was provided as in cutlery, glasses, plates etc. Really comfortable and large sized open plan kitchen / dining / lounging area. Go find the little wooded hut bar called Die Mühle , pretty much diaganol across (behind the opposite hotel) great music and drinks! Parking behind , some under cover. Very quiet and safe.

Cons: We had no problems.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast. Friendly lady host. Room had a balcony, hotel has a garden where you can sit outside, although I didn't make much use of either, because the full day of my 2-night stay (October 26th) was unbroken sunshine, so I spent most of it on the Grossglockner Pass (the pass was closed for the next few days). Hotel is next door to a good supermarket (ADEG Pichler) and 1/3 mile from the good restaurants and bars in the centre of Heiligenblut.

Pros: Quiet and tranquil place - a bit far from the village
Cons: Comfort of room was so so ... the carpet rather old and dirty, however the sink in the room was more than I expected and the bath and toilet were clean. Toilet without sink though, so you cannot wash your hands... (french style?)
5.8 Okay
Pros: Beautiful views, very friendly owners
Cons: Not easy to find after dark. Shared but clean shower and toilets were on the ground floor, while our room was on the first floor. Traveling with three children and paying the price we paid I would have expected those facilities in the room.
7.9 Good
Pros: It's a guest house, not a hotel. The owner is super nice. the view is just perfect

Pros: Breakfast was wonderful. Location was great for anyone who is into hiking or skiing as it is about 1 5 minute walk from the Grossglockner cable car.

Cons: Nothing I could think of.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfest is taste, host is very kind
7.9 Good
Pros: The location and the breakfast were very good and save parking is available.
Cons: We booked a "Family Studio" with twin beds for 2 nights and requested a room with firm mattresses and a view. On arrival the mother of the owner told us that the room was specifically allocated to us because we had requested a room with a view . The mattresses were very soft, thin and uneven and on our request the mother of the owner replaced the one mattress with one from another room. No other mattresses were available as all the rooms had, according to her, been booked. The mattresses really need to be replaced /upgraded. There also was a bad smell in the kitchen which we later found to be emanating from the dust bin. We however only during the day after our arrival realised that we had been allocated a "Double Room"( which is of course cheaper and smaller) instead of a " Family Studio ", without any prior notice or discussion. When I confronted the owner for an explanation he tried to justify this change in rooms on the fact that we had requested a room with a view. We however found that "our" Family Studio had been allocated to a family of 3 (who would not fit into the "Double Room" allocated to us) and in fact had a beautiful view over the mountain. Although the owner thereafter formally changed our booking and we only paid the lesser amount for the "Double Room", one cannot but wonder whether we would have been charged with only the cost of the "Double Room " had we not confronted the owner about this. The behaviour of the owner was not only very unfortunate but also unexceptable and not what one would expect from an establishment rated as highly as Bergkristall.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent. The apartment I had was clean, modern and easily accessible and the staff very friendly. breakfast was quite nice.
Cons: I could not fault the Hotel Bergkristal

A ski bus stops right in front of Hotel Sonnblick. For stays of 7 nights or longer in all rooms, the hotel reimburses the toll for the Großglockner High Alpine Road.
5.4 Okay
Cons: We stayed in over 200 hotels and travelled before to UK, Italy, Spain, France, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, USA, Canada, Mexico. We never experienced the lack of soap due to the very high cost of it and the owner's belief that only luxury hotels offer soap at discretion. We had three dinners included but we ate somewhere else twice before coming to the dinner offered at Sonnblick because we did not know what to expect. And with no soap available, we wondered if anybody is washing hands when preparing the dishes. Several things could have been better: the presence and availability of soap; beds could have been replaced, soap again, service, soap again, attitude, soap again. Really? Is soap a high commodity in Austria?

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners and the members of staff were just great. We booked at 4.45 pm and when we reached the destination we felt extremely valued as guests. We had a great dinner and it was so easy to interact at all level. We decided to stay for another day because there was an Octoberfest inside the guesthouse which was great fun. The location is easy to access and there is a lot of space inside and outside the main structure. There are also climbing facilities and zip wires on the back were adults and children can enjoy. We could also park our 4 motorbikes in the garage. A great thanks to Klaus, Claudia and AnneMarie for the unforgettable experience.
Cons: Nothing really....
6.7 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: There is no elevator. Smells like fried food. It looks like they didn't have enough people working.

Pros: Location. Such beautiful place
7.9 Good
Pros: The Villa Brandstatter is in a beautiful location with gorgeous views. Our host was not there but, upon our arrival, quickly arranged for us to get our keys. Our room was very typical of a small Pension in the area, old and small, but the bed mattresses where the most uncomfortable of our travel this year. It made for a long, uncomfortable evening. Would be nice to have the mattresses replaced. Maria, a friend of the owner, showed up the next morning and cooked us a delightful breakfast.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location with terrific views! We appreciated Maria letting us make a cheese sandwich for the road.
Cons: The beds are twin beds pushed together, with a wooden frame in-between (not comfortable for 2 people to rest together). The towels are small and a bit rough.

8.8 Excellent
