Very little to like. They do provide a car wash if you're interested in that, but besides that the owners are incredibly stingy to the point where it is a nuisance
From stringent WiFi limits to lack of any form of cleaning, this place is terrible. I'm normally not one to review hotels, but this was such a bad place I wanted to make others aware. The beds are uncomfortable, it's filled with insects, and you have to find the owner (who often isn't available) everyday because otherwise they won't replace your soap in the daily cleaning when you run out.
Pleasant stay at Ashleigh Court
Room was a suite that included a kitchen with a large fridge and stove top for cooking if desired. There was a table and chairs as well as 2 upholstered chairs for sitting. Location was quiet. About a 30 minute walk to get to Botanic Garden entrance less if going in the back way. We returned car early and had no problems getting to stores and restaurants.
With a stay at Ashleigh Court Motel in Christchurch (Riccarton), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Riccarton House and Canterbury Museum. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
