Perhaps I should have read more carefully. Given the snow conditions, I rented an SUV and must have understood incorrectly as I expected all-wheel or four-wheel drive. I was offered a $150 upsell. Cons:
Enterprise had no car for me because they had overbooked. I had to scramble at the last minute to find another car that cost more. The local agency said I would have to call the 800 number to get compensation for the additional cost and the supervisor on the 800 line said they could do nothing because that had to be handled by the local agency. Everybody was very sorry. A sorry operation indeed.National

I loved how fast and simple the service was. No one tried to push any additional services on me, and everyone was so kind. Customer service was great! Had help with my bags. I have never had such a great experience with a rental car company. Will definitely look to Hertz first. Also extremely pleased with the deal I got. Hertz by far has the best service.Cons:

The Alamo Rep called me about a hour before scheduled time, asking me when to be picking it up. I arrived 10 min. prior, And no rep was present, proceeded to call assistance number and still took about half an hour to get the car once rep showed up.
