Pros (+) The staff were friendly, and our spacious room was clean with comfortable beds. We stayed at the VIK Cayena Beach, which felt wonderfully uncrowded. My wife absolutely loved the hotel’s spa, especially the talented manicurist-pedicurist Nadia.
Cons (-) Access to the beach was far from convenient—we had to navigate steep, awkward paths down and back up. With just a little effort, it could have been made much more user-friendly.

Cons (-) The food options tended to high carbs and deep-fried preparations. The salad bar at La Trattoria was limited and not very interesting.
