Cons: "The rebalance was worst I've ever encountered I was actually scared I prayed many times 4 yo get home safely I was not impressed with my last flight n also why were We delayed coming from manila we turn back many times n I had only 50 mins to catch my flight to Perth if we had landed wen we should hv I'd hv time to buy some gifts I'm.glad that Philippines airlines will fly direct yo manila from Perth come March n I'll use them from now on as it's a few times in the years gone that things has happened to me I forgave ur airline but now i not need to as hv other airline to fly n my darling come here 3 or 4 times each year but will use Philippines airlines URS sincerely Trevor frahm"

Pros: "Crew was super nice and the food was good (for plane food)! Really appreciated that they had snacks and chocolate on hand for hungry passengers throughout the flight. A 17 hour plane ride is never the best, but Singapore Air made it as pleasant as possible. Also, we booked on Kayak and was routed through a third party vendor JustFly, which I was a little worried about - but our booking went off without a hitch."

Plus the flatbed lay out meant you were basically lying in a question mark position, not so goof for tall people like my husband. The food was good but uninteresting and I think for an overnight flight there should be more smaller,lighter, non spicy options offered rather that full dinners."

Air NZ said they cancelled flights then Flyus.com said to deal with Air New Zealand and said my flights got cancelled and that they could not get me another flight. I had to find out how to get out of Berlin. I had to fly to Spain to my cousin’s home because I haf no where to go and did not have money to pay for another flight from Berlin to LAX 1,200 euros. I am still in Europe stuck and it is Monday 4/30. My son needs me in Los Angeles! I will never use Kayak again. What happened to my $878 dollars????"

But how ever the seats on their A330 was average. But otherwise all was good. I would recommend Cathay."

Was put on 2 lay overs instead of just 1 (hongkong to Aussie then Aussie to Auckland. With no compensation at all. Sorry is not enough."

Pros: "Boeing 777 had an upgrade on the video display software, making for a more manageable video experience. It's easier to navigate because of the ability to close screens and go back to the screen you were on, rather than having to start over each time."
Cons: "I received a polite e-mail and a text message an hour or two later indicating that my flight from Taipei to HongKong had been delayed. It took a login to the Cathay Pacific web site to figure out that with the rescheduled time, I would miss my connecting flight from HongKong to Boston if I didn't change anything. I managed to sort it out, though it took using my cell phone to place an international call to the HongKong Cathay Pacific office to get me on an earlier flight. I don't think this is an acceptable level of service -- had I not had WiFi access or an international capable cell phone, I would have been stranded in Taipei or HongKong an extra day. I think CP could have done more to notify and help remediate the situation knowing the implication of the rescheduled flight. Food also remains mediocre, though slightly better."

Pros: "I am frequent air traveler that logs about 100k miles a year and this is the first time I felt like writing a review about an airline. I traveled with my 4 year old son on this trip. Excellent service, high quality food options and flight amenities. I really enjoyed the food as did my son. My son left his backpack behind on the first leg and the airline staff retreived it and delivered it to the lounge in less than 15 minutes. I was astounded and had almost given up on seeing the bag again, given my experience with other airlines in the past. This is going to be airline of choice for future trips!"

I know several airlines who hide behind bureaucratic procedures to stonewall customers. CP is not one of them. Excellent service, before, after and during the flight."

Cons: "Dark haired male crew member extremely rude except to two in row I58 & J58 who got 5 beers before departure,Food before everyone else, a gift pack from 1st class given before landing. I was refused extra bottled water. No entertainment the whole flight, Loud buzzing in galley 60H entire trip."

Pros: "Food was ok."
Cons: "More information about the ongoing delays. Cabin crew seemed aloof."

Pros: "Food was surprisingly good and generous. Also nice to have snacks and small soft drinks available in the back at any time. The entertainment system had a good collection of movies."
Cons: "Seats should have a USB port for charging devices. Podcast selection was poor on the entertainment system and usually only had one or two episodes. Because podcasts are often free (or can be licensed cheaply) and require little storage, system should have last 20 episodes of the best 100 podcasts."

Pros: "Almost everything."
Cons: "Flying on 8 Jan is a time when there a lot of holiday makers heading home or perhaps just going on holiday. Lots of young children and a baby crying right behind me wasn't the most relaxing but I realise that nothing can be done about that."

Pros: "We eventually got to our destination safely although very stressed"
Cons: "The plane from Sydney to Brisbane was awful. The section where we were seated had a permanent cover over the windows, ours and others near us, over a large section. This was really claustrophobic. It was like being in a closed in tin can. It should be disclosed that the window seat is not a window seat so you have the option to change to somewhere else. The seats are really quite cramped. A huge delay"

Pros: "The crew was spectacular. Could not have been more friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to provide great service. The food was great, especially the breakfast!"
Cons: "The coach seats were wide enough, but a couple of more inches leg room would have been better."

Cons: "Entertainment system was old and slow. So-so food. Air New Zealand was better than Quantas for similar journey at same week of year and about the same price."

Cons: "We DIDN"T GET TO FLY TO SYDNEY. We were re-routed to SAN FRAN, then to Melbourne! WE MISSED TWO DAYS of our trip!!"

Pros: "Crew were really good. Had lactose allergy but no meals available for me onboard. Couldn't get to a resolution as we were unsure on ingredients but crew did everything they could. Were very friendly about whole thing"

Cons: "Only podcasts, couldn't find music to listen to while I worked."

Cons: "The airport closure wasn't PALs fault but the absolute lack of organisation and an attitude "act of God so look after yourself" is disgusting. Flying business expected some service but had nothing and they smiled and said they rebooked me 16 days later. Other airlines would book you on different carriers but not PAL. Last time no matter what special deal they offer."

Cons: "The seat space is a bit small, there is too less Chinese and Japanese movies to choose from."

Pros: "Landing"
Cons: "There was no entertainment on board. There was provision for iPads in the backs of the seat, but none provided. There were drop down TVs but the audio was not working. Had I known in advance that this would be the case, I would have been able to prepare my own device and headphones."

Pros: "Nice crew"
Cons: "Delayed by an hour. Gate change to a gate too small to accommodate people. Food was pretty ordinary. Seats very cramped."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed 3 hours. We were stuck on the plane 2 of the 3 hours! Terrible!"

Cons: "The gate displayed on the boards in the departures area did not match the actual gate (17C). Confused a lot of passengers as the gate displayed was through the international area. Limited seating at the gate."

Pros: "Comfortable seats, good food choices, great service."

Cons: "Flight was canceled after 8 hours of Rebooked flight included an additonal stop, as well as overnight layover. Qantas made no attempt to give have better flights or offer any vouchers for the trouble (they provided the bare minimum of hotel, but no additional perks)."

Pros: "IFE for such a short flight, headset free. Cabin crew were quite pleasant. B737-800 series (Next Gen.) is a nice plane."
Cons: "Cramped. Lunch was that revolting beef & kale pocket (again!). Highest a/f of Tiger, Virgin & QF, which is fine if it’s worth it, which it most definitely wasn’t."

Pros: "Entertainment - lots of movies"

Pros: "Personality and communication with passengers by Asian-featured cabin crew team member in my area was excellent Movies selection very good"
Cons: "Quality of food seems to have dropped."

Pros: "You have a good airline. It was clean and everyone was friendly all communication was good EXCEPT before I got to the airport I forgot my visa and thought all I’d have to do is call Qantas and they’d advise me."
Cons: "Every time I’d call an 800 number I’d get someone in South Africa who was sooooo unhelpful. I’m sure she had her script but for heavensake all I needed to do was to go online and get a visa. And I saw someone in San Francisco at the ticket counter get a visa and yet I was told I wouldn’t be flying that night as I had forgotten to get a visa. No help at all !! I know I wasn’t the only person that ever got a visa. I was told to call my consulate. Clearly there was a simple way to get a visa and I was so freaked out until I figured it out myself. Made it so unpleasant."

Pros: "Really appreciate the food and entertainment Qantas provides on these mid-haul flights"

Pros: "Got us safely to our destination"
Cons: "Seats were far less comfortable and smaller with less legroom than our Qantas qf8 flight"

Pros: "The salmon entree was top notch. Veggies cooked crisp too. Morning muffin was warm. All very yummy:) Wonderful smiling crew."
Cons: "The audio headphones had patchy reception. Needed to wiggle the wires."

Cons: "Delayed!! It’s hilarious.. He didn’t arrived on time"
