Breakfast good plenty choice .Staff pleasant and helpful
This place has a lot to offer but falls short as its very tired!!! Understaffed and moral of staff was low. There was lots of issues with our room including water , both hot and cold that came out of the tP could give you a three degree burn!!! Our sink was so cracked, it looked unsafe, just very tired. Lacked care!!!
Staff were friendly and efficient. Free WiFi is fast and didn’t drop out.
Building and decor was very worn out and run down, in need of a serious bit of decorating. Few of the doors looked like they had been kicked in and patched up quickly including mine which wasn’t able to deadlock because the latch plate was put on wonky.
Quite the most disfunctional hotel I have ever stayed in. In the first room (#31) I was allocated, the heating was full on and could not be switched off. I was then given a different room (#14), in which there was a plumbing leak in the bathroom which caused a puddle on the floor and even penetrated the partition wall and saturated the carpet in the bedroom. In the morning there was no hot water. After a cold shower I had to boil the kettle for water to shave. At breakfast there was cereal but no milk. The only bakery items were pain chocolate which were burned on the outside and raw dough on the inside. On checking out no invoice was available because "the system was down" I could go on...............!
The location was ideal for where we were going.
It was very odd, like an independent hotel that had just opened and no idea what it was doing. The dinner was terrible, it was a set menu with very little choice. Food was tasteless, burger completely burnt and no bun?! Dessert was brought out cold, not a good experience. Table next to us sent their food back as their burger was raw, the staff were pretty useless at dealing with it and talked loudly across the room about who was to blame. Ladies burger never reappeared so she went without! Breakfast was also strange, there was no menu and the bread, cereal area was like staying in a hostel.
